Just wondering how much brand loyalty you guys have. I have a Lexus and I plan on having my next car be a Lexus as well.

I plan to keep my RX300 going for as long as I can.

I would like my little RX300 to have a Lexus friend beside it, but will have to wait until I go back to the U.S.

Had : Toyota Corolla, 97 ES, 97 SC

Now Have : 94 SC, 96 ES, 07 Camry

This past year I have had a vette, porsche, bmw, Mercedes Benz, etc...... BUT I have always had my Lexus by their side. Last week I had 3 Lexus total, but sold an IS300 and replaced it with an MB.

Erm, I know JDM Soarers aren't officially Lexus branded (but for this I guess I'll classify them as they are)... I've owned two Soarers consecutively and I was close to buying a '99 GS300 with all the fruit.

No doubt I'll keep on buying Lexus (or Toyota), thinking of getting an LS430 in the next couple of years.

I'm trying to get my hands on a 5-speed SC300 as well.

ES 300 to SC 400 to GS 400 back to ES 300 to RX 300 to GS 430...we never got rid of any...

I also have Lexus drawers, condoms, shirts, towels, hats, seasoning, sofa...lol

I had a '99 RX300, '02 ES300 and currently drive '05 IS300. Next one is '07 IS250. I don't plan on going anywhere else for awhile.

I'm thinking of adding another Lexus to my family. I bought the GS after five years in my 4Runner. Sold the 4Runner to make room for the GS. Now I'm already thinking about an SC430 (black and mean like Dan K's), LS430 (suicide doors with VIP styling?) or an older SC (roadster. yes. it is possible!).:D

I've presently got an 01 LX470 and a 03 GS300... used to have a 93 SC400. Will probably always have a Lexus around.

Presently have a 01 IS, and a 06 GS300 patiently waiting to see if the IS500 will be a reality.;)

I've only had a 93 SC400, a 94 ES300 and an 04 RX330. I have no problems getting another Lexus if they have the right car for me at purchase time. I also have no problems going to another brand if they have what I want/need. Lexus will always be one of the first brand I'll look at though.

I personally think that Lexus does not have a good progression for owners. By that I mean....
If you are in a RX350 and need a bigger vehicle you have to go to the GX. Well the reason you bought the RX350 in the first place was that it was easy to get into, drove like a car and handled good for its size. Your next move if you want to keep these same traits? Over to an MDX or XC90....

If you purchase an ES350, you bought the car because you wanted an entry level luxury car. Your next step up?.... unfortunately you have to go all the way to the LS (IMHO). The GS is for a different type of person.

You can argue that the IS owner can upgrade to the GS - that does work.

But there is no where to go after the GS (I just don't see the typical GS owner wanting a LS). The new LS600 might change that however. For me, as a GS owner, I wanted something the same size but with more sport/fun. A sports package on the GS might have done that - but alas, Lexus does not see the need for that. Back to BMW.....

MB and BMW on the other hand (and even Audi and Acura), seem to have a very progression orientated lineup. Obviously they are more focused brands and that means that a lot of owners will not even venture into their product line.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents and the reason we went from two Lexus cars to none.

I don't think I'll ever own anything else but Lexus. I had a 94 GS300, have 2001 GS430, and my 94 LS400 was stolen on wednesday :( I'm planning to gen another LS400 and replace the GS with SC430.

However if I ever have spare cash for a sporty toy, I'd get an S2k or Elise. And maybe Alfa will come to the US, their concept looks like pure sex on wheels.

Had 99 ES that was traded in for 06 GS300.

Still have the 95 Platinumsc300....planning to keep it forever....or until I get an offer I can't refuse.

My family has a 98 sc300, a 2005 ls430, and a 2006 rx400h. But my dad isn't feeling the new ls460 (likes the s550 or a8) and the rx400h has this bizarre rattle from the backseat that longo lexus can't fix, so my mom is probably going to change it up at the end of next year. And they are selling my sc300 since I'm away at school all year and only drive it on breaks (god knows what I'm getting). So in a year and a half my family might not even own a lexus anymore.

I've had a 91 LS and a 93 ES before. Currently I have a 97 LS, 99 RX and an 01 IS and will be adding one more to my Lexus fleet...the AWD 07 GS in a few months.

Zach, you are too nice. Like many here, did the german car thing and although I may go back, there will be a Lexus in the garage. As for now, the '03 SC is the toy and the '04 LS is my "mature" car which I will never modify despite what some say (cough cough Henry cough cough Mark cough). I am super interested in the new LS though. :)

I will probably buy another Toyota for daily use to drive family around.

But will probably not buy another lexus.

I like purposeful vehicles that fit a specific niche. Lexus does not fill every niche, thus cross brand shopping is necessary.

Who was that member that had something like 10 lexus cars? Is he still around?

I like to have a choice of Toyota products to drive every day and I'm quite happy with my current automobiles. But I'd also drive Subarus for reliable transportation. Or a turboed Miata or Elise or 911 for fun.

Lexus are nice cars and I love the 2nd gen GS, but besides the GS none of the other Lexus models have what im looking for. The LS, for example, is a great car but it gives u ZERO pleasure to drive it. Im kind of surprised so many CL members want it. Its 50/50 if i will buy a Lexus again.:sad:
