this is from rallying of 20ish years ago.

the group B FIA rally class was the equivalent of F1 for rallying, it featured to most powerful and fastest rally cars in history (some cars were hitting 700hp+).

unfortunately the Group B cars were banned from competition about 1985-6 after a series of spectator deaths in Portugal and Turkey. The class was TOO popular; crowd control existed but was near impossible to manage effectively. ironically it was Group B's popularity that caused its demise :sad:
