Default Revealed: 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer (Updated - Interior pics)

Yeehee. Here are fresh images of the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, set to debut next year at the Detroit auto show. The Lancer will come with a 152-horsepower 2.0-Liter 4-cylinder engine, which has a 5-speed manual transmission. There will be 3 trim levels offered: the DE, ES and the GTS.

It looks okay, I guess, but I wish it was more like the Concept-X. I’m not liking the rear end, I guess it’s due to the fact that it squeezes the taillights. Anyways, continue reading for all the pictures.

more images: here and from here

Looks a bit [insert awkward adjective here]

This Lancer and Mazda 3 look fantastic, styling does indeed sell.
Bland as well (Corolla) and ugly (Civic) sells too though

The EVO is going to be SICK!!!

I think anything is an improvement over the current Lancer looks. This is a much need step in the right direction. Volvo and Acura TL styling cues are a good thing for an entry level Japanese econobox.

I hope Mitsubishi does well with this car. Lord knows the Eclipse didn't deliver on it's promise to save the company.

not too bad. Not overly exciting at all either. The cloth does look plush and durable though lol.

Rawr at another integrated in-dash stereo, the thing I liked about the Evo IX was the ability to change out the single-DIN radio.
