One cool thing about the wintertime and your car....
You can forget food in there for a week and throw it in the microwave and eat it.
It is so cold, its like a damn icebox in the car
I forgot I had some ribs/bar-b-que pork, asparagus and mashed potatos and it was great for dinner.
I also had some chinese and won-ton soup left for 3 days and that went well too.
Anyone else???I know u are out there

Never knew it got that cold down there!!
If I forgot some food in the car and its been sitting in the car over night, its going straight in the trash. Dont care how cold it is outside. Theres just something not right about that.

Sick, I have only one suggestion:
Lay in a good supply. Oh, and put 911 on your speeddial.

Yes leaving food in the car during winter is better than leaving them unrefrigerated overnight in my house since my garage is not heated. I have had leftover pizza left in my car for a couple days during winter & the are still good reheated.

In some climates, you may actually need to defrost before you can eat the food
I just remember one winter years ago (in Alberta), I left a bottle of white wine I bought in the car overnight & the bottle actually cracked from the frozen wine & I had to throw it away

Here's what my winters look like by my eastern WA home. I could easily use my trunk as a fridge if I wanted to. Not in western WA though.
