I wonder if Lexus can let us know why the German website is so much slicker than what we have in the US/Canada.
Has anyone here noticed?

Has anyone here noticed? Lexwang07 04-06-07, 05:40 AM Not yet! Is that good! whoster 04-06-07, 09:48 AM no...it's not that good. www.lexus.de encore888 04-06-07, 12:42 PM The Lexus Germany site is based on www.lexus-europe.com, the basic template for all the major Lexus European sites. It has a very 'design chic' look to it, very clean and nice. PhilipMSPT 04-06-07, 01:14 PM Lexus Japan (http://www.lexus.jp) has the best Lexus website in the world!!! XeroK00L 04-06-07, 01:14 PM If you want slick, look no further than lexus.jp, the Lexus Japan website.:thumbup: encore888 04-06-07, 01:32 PM I just wish Lexus.jp had full English translations.;) Lexmex 04-06-07, 03:53 PM I happen to think the site below is the best;) www.clublexus.com @lpher 04-07-07, 05:34 AM The Lexus Germany site is based on www.lexus-europe.com, the basic template for all the major Lexus European sites. It has a very 'design chic' look to it, very clean and nice. ..and and last but not least...its VERY boring :D The norwegian site doesnt even offer a used cars/CPO page! spwolf 04-07-07, 07:56 AM european lexus sites suck... cant find any info there... US site is much better if you are researching vehicle encore888 04-07-07, 01:09 PM ..and and last but not least...its VERY boring :D The norwegian site doesnt even offer a used cars/CPO page! Yeah that's also a part of the clean and simple look, it may not be so interesting. pisaykotik 04-07-07, 02:49 PM Lexus Japan (http://www.lexus.jp) has the best Lexus website in the world!!! I drool everytime I visit their IS accessory page, especially their HID fogs. But $1400 is a little too high for my blood. :) encore888 04-07-07, 02:52 PM ^^^ Not to mention the IS JDM features, such as the HDD and G-Link...ion filtration etc. 1SICKLEX 04-07-07, 08:35 PM Glad to see one of the Japanese luxury marques representing in Europe, even if the sales are small. :) JessePS 04-08-07, 11:56 AM I checked out the ad for the LS on Lexus Deutschland site really nice ad I must say vader11 04-08-07, 12:23 PM Same as Lexus Hong Kong & China... However, I think Lexus Japan is the best. @lpher 04-08-07, 02:29 PM Glad to see one of the Japanese luxury marques representing in Europe, even if the sales are small. :) They ARE trying...i just notcied the offical book "the Lexus story" just came out in swedish :D Id just wish theyd try a little bit harder where im at. Norways ONLY Lexus franchise is 600kilometers away...and theyre bascily just a corner in a Toyota-store. But im hearing plans for atleast three more dealerships in norway...and even one thats under 10kilometers from where i live...so as i said...they ARE trying! :) encore888 04-08-07, 05:42 PM Yeah, I read that part of Lexus' Europe strategy is to separate out, build more standalone Lexus dealerships. Part of the reason why Lexus' image is still small in Europe is that the Lexus cars were sold next to Toyotas. rsantiago 04-09-07, 03:38 PM The Lexus Germany is a great site but nothing beats Lexus.Jp though. :D :D Blackraven 04-20-07, 04:47 AM ^^^ Not to mention the IS JDM features, such as the HDD and G-Link...ion filtration etc. You know what. It's weird that this feature is only available in the IS for Japan market.....but is a standard feature on the Camry (worldwide):egads: I wonder Toyota group is thinking about Plasmacluster implementation:uh: . I mean, all they need is to ask further permission from Sharp, right? encore888 04-20-07, 12:41 PM I think also the ion filtration is on LS sedans in Europe... Although I'm not fully sold on the technology myself, but it's an interesting gadget... encore888 04-22-07, 04:20 PM BTW, speaking of international Lexus websites: www.lexus.com.tw has been completely redone, commercials for each car, wallpaper, flash intros, etc. |
