I wonder if Lexus can let us know why the German website is so much slicker than what we have in the US/Canada.

Has anyone here noticed?

The Lexus Germany site is based on www.lexus-europe.com, the basic template for all the major Lexus European sites. It has a very 'design chic' look to it, very clean and nice.

Yeah that's also a part of the clean and simple look, it may not be so interesting.

I drool everytime I visit their IS accessory page, especially their HID fogs. But $1400 is a little too high for my blood. :)

Glad to see one of the Japanese luxury marques representing in Europe, even if the sales are small. :)

Same as Lexus Hong Kong & China...
However, I think Lexus Japan is the best.

They ARE trying...i just notcied the offical book "the Lexus story" just came out in swedish :D

Id just wish theyd try a little bit harder where im at. Norways ONLY Lexus franchise is 600kilometers away...and theyre bascily just a corner in a Toyota-store. But im hearing plans for atleast three more dealerships in norway...and even one thats under 10kilometers from where i live...so as i said...they ARE trying! :)

Yeah, I read that part of Lexus' Europe strategy is to separate out, build more standalone Lexus dealerships.

Part of the reason why Lexus' image is still small in Europe is that the Lexus cars were sold next to Toyotas.

You know what.

It's weird that this feature is only available in the IS for Japan market.....but is a standard feature on the Camry (worldwide):egads:

I wonder Toyota group is thinking about Plasmacluster implementation:uh: . I mean, all they need is to ask further permission from Sharp, right?

I think also the ion filtration is on LS sedans in Europe...

Although I'm not fully sold on the technology myself, but it's an interesting gadget...

BTW, speaking of international Lexus websites:

www.lexus.com.tw

has been completely redone, commercials for each car, wallpaper, flash intros, etc.
