plz don't take this negatively, but
i see alot of amigos in my area with large APC (american product company)sticker on rear window. it can be on anything but a honda, sometimes trucks and minivans too. just curious what that's all about

In Mexico, the Civic does get rice treatment, but more often the son of the Chevette known as a Chevy or just about any VW. I actually find the Civic rice treatment tame by comparison when I see vehicles of the latter two marks that I mentioned.

Many DX Civics on the street are no longer recognizable as a Civic, because of the Lexus headlight conversion

Unfortunately they are hard to spot because of the non- projector HID conversions that blind you, on most of the ricer cars on the road

I think it was used for humour purposes, but still correct, what did one of your cars make the list or something??

The term Oriental was used in the old days referring to Asians.

Even though it still carries the same meaning, I would say that it's no longer politically correct to call people from Asia "Orientals".

As for material items such as cars, the guy could easily have used the term "Asian" in place of Oriental. While I am not in a position to infer his intent, it still seems a bit out of place in the website's context.

By using the term "Oriental", the author could've easily called them "Jap" cars and receive similar criticisms from others.

I understand. I just found it funny someone had a problem with the word oriental, but responded with "redneck".

i don't mind all the wierd mods these civics have, but plz go to walmart and get some spray cans and paint it, like them dudes at UNIQUE WHIPS, and make it look like a million $$$ ride :)
