niiice except the "work on my blackberry" bit haha. You still have to be alert cause it won't do emergency braking. Well, it sorta will but you can apply the brakes whereas the system isn't designed to apply maximum brake pressure.
distronic looks cool, but you have to hit resume every time you come to a stop? That defeats the benifit IMO.
Same as Toyota's version. How else is the car supposed to know you want to go? If it didn't require a resume button flick, you can be assured there'll be tons of "unintended acceleration" lawsuits and you know there are sick people that would do anything for money.

Have you tried the system out on the MB or the Lexus? They have the same setup and both require you to resume acceleration. That button seems like common sense to me.
