Why does everyone buy the STI over the EVO?
I know the STi has a little bit more HP, but I think I would rather have the EVO myself, maybe it's just around here but there are TONS of STi's and no EVO's at all. Any ideas?

I believe Subaru is more respected as a manufacturer of vehicles in general and especially with AWD than Mitsubishi is anyway.
Around Long Island tho, I see equal amounts of both.

I can't remember the last time I've seen an EVO in St.Pete. A bunch of WRX's running around like rabbits.

I see more Evos than STIs in socal.
I never liked the way the EVO looks. The car looks too much like a car with aftermarket body kits. Not my thing.

I like the Evo's over the STI's. Less body roll in the Evo. Does the STI have the mechanism that sprays water on the intercooler like the Evo's?

i see comparable amounts of both cars.
on paper, the evo and sti seem like similar cars but they feel totally different from each other when you drive them.

If I want a track car, Evo is my choice, but If I need a DD, I would go for STI.

I don't see many of either, WRX and EVO are both in the 40,000 USD range down here. Did have a fellow American down here with an EVO and he busted his flywheel and he eventually switched to a WRX when he got back to the states.

Here in Dallas I'll see an STI for every seven EVOs.

I see just as many STI's as EVO's around my area. I prefer the EVO but I think STI's and Subaru's in general are more reliable than Mitsubishi.

Evo are more track (road race) worthy. I like both. If I was to buy one, I would have a hard time deciding.
