Just thought I'd share some pictures. Please, let's not turn this into a BMW vs. Lexus thread. I enjoy both our IS and BMW. Thanks for viewing.
Went to the Socale90/E90post "Mothers of All Meets" and then the Chevy "Rev It Up" event and snapped a few shots I thought I would share.
Tires/Wheels are Goodyear F1s/BBS LMs 235-35-19x8.5 (Fronts), 265-30-19x9.5 (Rears).
Lowered on KW Variant 2s.
BMW OEM Front Aero Lip.
Formula One Pinnacle 35% Tint
I have the painted reflectors installed now as well but it is not shown in pictures.
is it me or the rear end needs to be lowered just a little bit.
I think it looks that way due to the way the front end is sloped. I looked this over and over and thought the same way at first also. On a level surface, the lowering height is actually even. I am looking into a rear piece (but haven't found anything I liked) and adding a Vorsteiner (CSL Like) spoiler to help balance things out a bit.

Just what I have listed in the first post. I have other minor mods, the OEM Aluminum pedals, diff. lightbulbs to make the DRLs/Angel eyes match the HID, etc..
I love this car. The new E92's are really something else; clean, modern, IMO the most BMW-ish BMW in recent years. My girlfriend just got one yesterday. We are no longer driving my car when we go out :]
P.S. The rims really make your car look good, OC. I love them!
Yes, I hate windshield banners. He only put it on for the meet I believe. The black one is pretty crazy, he has the Mtec front end from an E92 on it. They had to custom make a hood and custom retrofit the fenders for it to work. Basically, the entire front end (incl headlights) have been swapped over from an E92 (it is an E90). You're right on the M5 wheels, he should be getting new ones soon. I really like M5 wheels though.

Yes, the Technik one looks so incredibly good, I wish the M3 actually looked more like that. I'll dig up some pictures later.
And about the LMs. I've wanted a set of LMs for years and years, I finally splurged to get them. They look so awesome when rolling. Now that I mention that, I'm trying to setup a shoot with rolling shots. Know any good HDR photographers in SoCal?
