My very own spy shots of a BMW

Was in SF over the weekend and saw this car in disguise. Living in Hawaii, we don't see stuff like this. So excited, I whipped out the cam. Looks like a 5-series?

it looks pretty good.. I like the exhaust.. it may very well be a 5 series..because of the size..

Haha, must have been fun.

I see stuff like this all the time, because I work catering and usually am out driving all over metro Detroit about 2-3 hours every morning.

There's no such thing of a disguised pre-production car on northeastern roads.

I've never seen one in my life.

It's probably because there are no factories up here and perhaps the high population.

There's nothing extreme to test the vehicle here. In Cali, they've got Death Valley to make sure the plastics don't melt and the AC works. In Sweden and places near the Arctic Circle, they've got cold weather testing. In the Northeast, we have congestion and narrow, ugly roads full of stop signs and traffic cameras. But if you wanted to test out a car's brakes/electronics in heavy congestion, you'd probably go to Asia anyways. So there's nothing special about us.

It's the replacement for the Jaguar S-type. It's called the XF, and it was previewed by this car:

I read an article on the car. I love the luminescent headliner though it probably won't make it into the production model.

vancouver, bc ... no pre-production cars up here either

there are some very very nice cars just generally around ... but nothing pre-production
