If you could, which one for you?

Probably the LF-A, just because it's the top-end model. I really like the IS-F, but I don't need a sedan anytime soon, so might as well go for the supercar. Can't really say for sure though, since there haven't been any solid numbers for either yet.

Well maybe in the year 2015:D for me. That car is just sensational.

Hmm, tough choice, but I would have to go with either the '07 LS460 or '07 GS450h. These days I'm all about fuel consumption, so my first instinct is to pick the GS hybrid. But based on looks, features, interior space, silky smooth V8, status, etc, I would probably go with the LS.

All things considered (luxury, power, fuel efficiency, looks, size, features) I would likely shoot for the 2008 GS 350.

GS 460 would be nice, but I just dont see a time to use another 80 horsepower and its more expensive, more maintence, and more gas.

Depends on my wallet...though I want an IS at some point to complement my RX300, but an SC430 is tempting.

If somehow I come across $200k I'd for sure get the LF-A. After just need to save money for going to the track for the day. Almost 4.3 km of fun.

I am quite excited to see how the 2008 GS460 will turn out.

I love my LS, but crave more performance out of it.

Perhaps the GS460 will have some of it's amenities (such as auto park, 8-speed tranny, and the such). The only amenities that I don't see on the GS that the LS would have are the rear passenger amenities that makes it ultra-luxurious for the driver AND the rear passengers.

I'll have to wait and see...

LF-A no doubt if I could ...

Tough choice... LF-A if I could afford it, but probably either
LS or GS of some kind is what I would like.

I am very interested in how the GS460 will turn out as well.

This is my intended goal, 2010 or 2011 is the LS460. At the rate we're putting miles on the LS400 though, that will likely be stretched into a later buying period, maybe 2015.

I'd have to go for the IS-F because its a car that you really don't have to modify.. Its a monster right out of the box.. get in and drive.. I hope by then the GS will be redesigned but it still would be out of my price range for that matter..

In my dreams: LF-A for me as well. Stunning automobile that will change the world's perception of Lexus forever.

Realistically: IS-F, which I especially love in the electric blue color in which it was debuted.

Some Lexus hybrid... GS450h or ES/IS if they come out with one. Of course, that's assuming I can afford it lol.

None of those.

Probably a 2010 or 2011 LS or GS.

I never have only one car,
so LS460 short and IS-F, and if I could, LF-A

LF-A is not in my budget so nothing in the Lexus lineup currently appeals that much to me to buy (not saying they aren't good cars, just looking for cars more sporty).

LF-A son.

I cant tell you how many people are waiting for a reliable Ferrari slayer...

I wouldn't call it a Ferrari slayer just yet.

One thing that a Ferrari has that the LF-A won't is name, panache, and all that jazz (not to mention Ferrari's legendary engine notes). I'm not saying that name, panache, status, etc. are everything, but it is a big deal with a lot of people who can afford such a car.

Yeah being on 6speed,Ferrari chat and NSX prime, the NSXers are truly enthusiastic about this car more than the other 2 forums.

Who knows, maybe it will compete with the F430 performance wise, clearly not prestige or panache wise.

From my understanding, yes. This car is so super secret I have no idea about the tranny outside it will have paddle shifters. I really am hoping some sort of SMG tranny and not the 8 speed auto:sad:

I'm sorry, I didn't know we were discussing the general stupid populace?
Last time I checked, this question was directed to the individual.
You insensitive clod... :D

Are there that many? I am with you, but I think most people will still buy Ferrari over Lexus whether or not it is reliable. I am sure a lot of bag-makers provide better features than LV, but people still buy LV for the name and the looks.
Plenty enough to probably sell every LF-A they make if they go the same route of limiting them as the IS-F.

Lexus isn't ****ing around with the performance crowd anymore.

I'm sure you've seen the disgustingly abrasive IS-F.

If I could it would be the LF-A, but realistically it would be a Lexus model car

I voted IS350 and I wouldn't wait until 2010 to get it. I'd drop on that baby right now. The IS just became my favorite Lex of all time. Before it was the second generation ES300 (before they turned it into an old ladies car).

IF i could afford it, a new LS anytime. Then bippu it to hell ;)

Och

I think the LS is the only Lexus model that is still worth it, everything else is pretty much half assed, and the LF-A has been hyped too much for too long, it's becoming a joke now, sorta like the new NSX.

At least it's legit. :D

It's been overhyped, just like the NSX, the Panamera, the Rapide, and the GT-R...

I don't really know whether it's legit or not, but it's probably not gonna be out until at least 2010. By that time it will have a hard time hanging with entry level sport sedans.

If the steering and chassis dynamics continue to feel artificial to the driver, then I would purchase none. I will indeed test drive a GS-F if this unicorn comes to life ..:D Until then, the dream of future Lexi continues.

Curious...if the "dynamics" are artificial in feel, yet the car quantitatively surpasses your performance expectations, you'd still dismiss it?

Why?

Having owned/driven razor-sharp handing cars (Evos/S2000s), demure luxo-yachts (ls430's)...i never understood why people buy in the marketing / magazine hoopla about "feel". My old Supras were numb in comparison to the Evo / S2000, but could readily outperform them in about every subjective area, hence i would take it in a heartbeat. But hey, if finesse is your thing...
