Actually, come think of it, it might have been a 335i with the M3 bumper. but anyways, looks the M3s are rampant on the ring! xioix 07-27-07, 11:25 AM If only the pics were bigger, I would have it as my wallpaper GS3Tek 07-27-07, 11:35 AM Nice link indeedy:thumbup: I'm actually liking this look, the non-slothy anteater look:eek2: XeroK00L 07-27-07, 11:38 AM Apparantly some people just sit on the side of the 'Ring all day long and sell these pics for a living. That's one job I wouldn't mind doing.:p XeroK00L 07-27-07, 11:41 AM die M3 DIE!!! :D http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20076b.jpgYep you got that right...the M3 is SMOKED!!:driving::woohoo: http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20683a.jpg xioix 07-27-07, 11:43 AM Apparantly some people just sit on the side of the 'Ring all day long and sell these pics for a living. That's one job I wouldn't mind doing.:p And for some real inside scoop, rent a car such as a 911 Turbo and race some of those prototypes and see what kinda performance would it have Mr Johnson 07-27-07, 11:51 AM Jaguar XF... +1 It will be interesting to see if this helps Jaguar sales like it should. It certainly can't hurt. MPLexus301 07-27-07, 12:05 PM Great post  Overclocker 07-27-07, 12:12 PM Nice wing on the beemer. http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20175b.jpg mavericck 07-27-07, 12:17 PM It's kind of stupid that the Germans let other manufacturers use their Nurburgring and Autobahn. xioix 07-27-07, 12:22 PM It's kind of stupid that the Germans let other manufacturers use their Nurburgring and Autobahn. How is it stupid? The Autobahn is a highway, they can't stop people from using it, and the ring is a race track that anyone can use, just pay the entrance fee and you can get in. GFerg 07-27-07, 12:25 PM It's kind of stupid that the Germans let other manufacturers use their Nurburgring and Autobahn. Why do you say that? Just like any other track its open to the general public (on certain days/times). And according to Richie (our International mod), part of it is still used as a toll-road. DzaztrBUSE 07-27-07, 02:30 PM Can't remember the last time I had that much fun scrolling down a web page. :D First time seeing a couple of those, awesome find! :agree: Yeah, what he said vraa 07-27-07, 03:14 PM These are SICK ass photos. Why? Because they aren't blurry and they are relatively high resolution. PhilipMSPT 07-27-07, 03:41 PM Nice wing on the beemer. http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20175b.jpg It's to prevent that 5000 lb behemoth from flying off the track... Koma 07-27-07, 04:02 PM Looks like the STI is running around. It's on the 5 door body. Dual twin pipes. Big wheels. Can't tell much else from that. @lpher 07-27-07, 04:09 PM Yep you got that right...the M3 is SMOKED!!:driving::woohoo: http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20683a.jpg Ahh..man...look at that pic...and tell me that doesnt resemble the mkIV Supra from the same angle...i love it! :D Btw...im REAL curious as to what the rearlights on the LF-A will look like...knowing Toyota/Lexus THEY will be quite destinct! AND..you gotta admit that there has got to be a real resaon they have those ugly stick on rear lamps there, right? :D Shoyuu 07-27-07, 05:39 PM It's to prevent that 5000 lb behemoth from flying off the track... LOL my thoughts exactly... :D LEXUS FAN! 07-27-07, 07:34 PM what is this car? http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20670a.jpg it is so heavily camoflauged, i cant tell aren't those Lexus rims? it looks like the GS...GS-F? Nextourer 07-28-07, 12:10 AM aren't those Lexus rims? it looks like the GS...GS-F? Those look like Jaguar rims (new XK??). Probably the new S-Type.. based on that concept car.. I forget the name. Nextourer 07-28-07, 12:17 AM hmm... They're still testing the 8C Competizione? and is that the new Impreza WRX (STi?) that's under disguise or are they old pics? Also, what's that car right at the bottom.. panoramic roof + MB wheels... possibly the next E-Class replacement? UberNoob 07-28-07, 01:50 AM ^^^^^ lol, LF-S does not look like a Tiburon to me!! has Jag been sold by Ford yet? i hope they will wait and see what happens when XF comes out before deciding to sell and such Ford should really bring the new Mondeo over here too... Nextourer 07-28-07, 09:55 AM Ford should really bring the new Mondeo over here too... I second that. Coco-bun 07-28-07, 10:22 AM Yep you got that right...the M3 is SMOKED!!:driving::woohoo: http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20683a.jpg usually at the tracks, they don't allow you to pass from the inside so I bet this is a pic of the M3 trying to catch up to the LF-A :p woohoo, the return of the M3 Limo http://home.online.no/~kn-sand//ringen%20juli07/Bilde%20074b.jpg and this is the first time I've seen the LF-A with so little disguise. mavericck 07-28-07, 01:52 PM Why do you say that? Just like any other track its open to the general public (on certain days/times). And according to Richie (our International mod), part of it is still used as a toll-road. Well the Nurburgring is what has been giving the Germans a substantial advantage in terms of development over its non-German rivals and for them to let other manufacturers use the track to develop their chassis and suspension systems negates that advantage. I never said that the Nurburgring is not an open track to the general public, only that by letting other manufacturers use this track to develop their chassis's and suspension systems they basically giving those other companies have a free hand at taking away their advantage. Which is not very prudent of them, unless they charge a very hefty fee to those other auto companies. xioix 07-28-07, 03:49 PM Well the Nurburgring is what has been giving the Germans a substantial advantage in terms of development over its non-German rivals and for them to let other manufacturers use the track to develop their chassis and suspension systems negates that advantage. They can't decided when the cars roll up in all black tape then decide "Uhh, we have to charge you more because your testing a non German." mavericck 07-28-07, 07:27 PM They can't decided when the cars roll up in all black tape then decide "Uhh, we have to charge you more because your testing a non German." And why can't they? |
