what a fabulous event, i was honored to be invited to the event. the is-f is an incredible machine. the gas blipping part is phenomenal, and the car shifts so fast it's completely different from the is350

car is very fast (though not scary fast) and handles very well on the track. our driver had to do a full drift on a corner, the car went beautifully. braking was strong and firm.

i talked to the pro driver, which has been driving on the track for a long time, and he said that the is-f is a very very nice machine. the shifting and gas blipping is very well done, car is extremely balanced and very easy to control. completely different animal from the is350.

i asked him if he'd ask for an auto, he said absolutely not. the shifting on the car is done very well and stick won't help much. he said earlier today he was doing a chase (for video) in another carerra and that car was no match, he had a very hard time catching up

overall, love that machine, sounds awesome and it really goes. well, everything except the exhaust i guess.

they say the car will probably go on sale next march (that's their guess). these 3 cars are fresh from japan on monday (they used plane!!!!) and they haven't even talked about the price yet (should be in october). i felt so happy to be the first public in the world to get a taste of this car

Yes soon enough. I haven't had time to start my draft yet. Had to work today (thursday) and going back to Monterey for the Historics tomorrow and Saturday. Whew what a week, lots of driving, lots of history, lots of memories. IS-F. Amazing machine.

I posted on autoblog....the guy criticizing Glen has a gotdamn G20, which we know was at the forefront of sport sedan technology and today, is a highly desirable car.

and as usual, a lot of times i feel very sorry for some people's comments -- they are so patheticYou know the haters leave those comments only because they are awed by what they see and deep down they feel so threatened that they need to say something negative to hide their insecurity.;)

Still lots of Lexus haters out there. The good news is that the 20-something BMW fanboys don't have the $ to get an IS-F or an M3 unless mommy and daddy are buying. They'll be stuck in their '99 Passats and '02 GTIs. Enjoy that.
