My friend and I are having trouble deciding between the two, which one is better. The Lamborghini LP 640 is a little faster, but the Carrera GT could be considered the epitome of fine car design. Personally I really like the look of the LP640 better, and considering that its a little cheaper and faster, its my prefrence.

Pics a little big? haha, I love the GT but ever since I saw the Murcielago when it came out years ago, I loved it. And with the new engine and design, WOW, thats my dream car of all time.

When is Lexus going to make a super car that can compete with some of these other manufacturers?

I have no preference with these two. They are IMO the two best looking exotics out currently (though the CGT is now out of production). I call it a tie.

Stock for stock though, I like the Lambo a lot more.

I personally don't really care for the CGT... Until Gemballa got their hands on it that is! It then became a bonafied stunner.

You asked a question, you got the answer. Its not a concept, it is coming, Lexus has CONFIRMED a V-8 hybrid model and a V-10 model doing over 200mph.

Of COURSE let us not expect a exotic car killer. Its Lexus first attempt and the first attempt from any Japanese company. :)

I guess your right, but it just doesnt have the powerful look as other hyper cars, but i guess it will be able to hold its own..

Carrera GT... Hands down. I'm not a fan of the Hamann LP640. But, between the two stockers, I would still take the CGT. :thumbup:

Lambo gets the nod for me. It has the prestige, the history, the brute force, the sex appeal, the Lambo doors (all others are now called Lambo doors), it's just the one!
