Fergie Auctions Off Her Hummer H2 on eBay - supposedly, to help save the envrionment.
The owner of the trademark on lovely lady lumps is auctioning off her lump of an SUV -- a DUB Edition Hummer H2 for charity. That's totally so special of her! So what's the charity, you ask? Global Green USA. Umm, yeah. But wait, wait all you cynics of the world -- she answers your question your question already.
The cynic may say that this is just transferring the negative effects of the vehicle to someone else, but in supporting Global Green USA, the charity is donating carbon emission credits for 10 years to offset the impact and in addition it is using the money to work on the important issue of climate change.

I don't care much for Fergie from what I know of her, but I have no disrespect at all for this move as a "green" move. She's donating the entire purchase price of the H2 to this environmental firm? That's about the most admirable move you could possibly make.
Would you prefer that she dismantle and destroy it? That just means that the person who would have bought hers is going to go buy somebody elses, so she's not going to reduce the total number of H2s in the world, and dismantling the vehicle is just going to be a complete waste of resources, too since recycling a perfectly good car is a waste.

That was at San Diego's street scene, I was there but unfortunately missed BEP's performance so I didn't get to see her peeing herself in person. I think she's a good addition to the group, but I thoroughly dislike her solo album. Seems like all her songs are about herself and she for whatever reason, feels the need to spell out her lyrics... Really quite annoying IMO.
