1sickprediction-bmw 135

Not only will this be one of the hottest cars sold the past 10 years in America, it will be one of the best sleepers out there. You look at this car and you think economy and entry-level. What you don't realize is the sob
has the same engine as the 335 coupe/sedan and the sob probably has it chipped for 400hp or so...It may be dropped with slightly bigger wheels.
On top of that, due to its size, it will be very nimble on mountain runs and in and out traffic.
It starts at what, 28k? We are talking having the badge of a BMW (nice snob appeal) with performance of pretty much everything short of a 911 turbo. For around 30k if you limit options.
A lot of people don't want the FnF Evo, STi, Mustangs etc. I predict this car is going to be an internet legend.
Your thoughts.
And there are plenty of cars that cost less than a 911 Turbo that will outperform this car stock, and there are still a good deal that will outperform it modded (of course the sky's the limit as far as turning up boost is concerned, so I'm sure there will be a few outrageously fast 135is out there). Most of the cars that will outperform it look a lot nicer as well
I see it selling well. Will I buy it? No. But it will still sell very well...
Women.... go figure. I think its a great idea for BMW to put a really strong motor in a very small car and price it under 30k... But if i was in the market for a BMW id definitely save up a little more cash and get a 335Ci...

But that'd all be a function of what do I lose and what do I gain. I'd want to lose as much weight in the car as possible while having a similar quality car to the 3-series... just smaller. And since the 335i starts at 40k then I'd hope the 135i would start at less than 35k... I'd say 34k ideally with at least the same base equipment.
It could very well be the fastest car under $35K, like... ever. Or at the very least, the fastest one from a luxury brand. I don't know if there's something major I'm missing, but that seems fair to say... And then with just a couple cheap mods (like procede)...
I still hate everything that's associated with the name "BMW", though, so I say no thanks.
(That plus, like I said, it's godawful to look at. And that's a huge turnoff.) If I wanted a fun, lightning-quick, and small car, I'd just get a Corvette as a weekend car, and keep the IS for DD.EDIT: And there's no way in hell this car is going to be $28K... low-to-mid 30s base price, best case scenario.

the 135 however will be stupidly fast, ugly, and probably sell well for several years when they start to break from everyone chipping/modding them

i do hope BMW does the right thing and uses their mechanical steering system, im not a fan of their electric systems
