I personally think the 07+ G35-S Sedan is an awsome car. I was really close to ordering an 08 G35 Sports package Sedan and trading in/selling the LS400. I prefer the more sporty feeling cars so that is one reason why I really like the Infiniti cars. I thought the interior materials used were on par or better in some areas with the competition, but a little cheap in other areas as well. Mostly all good though, but every car has issues here and there. One reason why I really liked the G35 is because it felt like it was getting close to the BMW 3 series in terms of driving feel and dynamics which I like. In the end though I ended up with a used 330i so I didn't buy the G35.

As for the Infiniti M35/45, I like those cars as well. I actually like the looks of the G35 a little better though. I don't have much experience with the M35/45 cars, but my friend has an M35 and loves it.

I love the new G35 sedan. It looks sporty with some European classy feel, very different from the pure Japanese feel of the IS. I test drove both Sport and Journey last month, the car felt very powerful, good steering feel, not as quiet as the IS, but I felt like it handled a bit better with less body-roll during cornering, but since I only drove the car for like ten minutes or so, I am no expert of this car. Being a first gen G35 sedan owner for five years, I can tell you that the VQ engine Nissan/Infiniti use almost everywhere has a reason to be so famous, you try and you would know. Inside materials has been improved a lot but still a tad worse than what IS has, but just my opinion. All in all I think G is an excellent sports sedan, you wouldn't regret buying it. As far as the M goes, I don't know much about it, but from what the car testers and magazines describe, it is one good alternative to BMW 5-series, should be good. But I find M to be a bit too big for my taste.

G35 sport hands down .... driven and seems like a good value in comparison to the m35/45..

Great looks inside and out. I actually think the M series needs some fine tuning. The exterior does not excite me for the money.
