Dear BMW,
Please chill out with all the new models that no one wants to buy and make no sense to buy.

THey are getting rid of the 2 big humps, thank goodness. That looks better to the eye. Still too bland to me though.

The quote on the paper is funny. Something about a pump for the motor and to use if for longer drives (> 30 minutes) or else the motor is going to go *boom* (Kaput!). :-)

Stop all these ugly weird ridiculous crossover hatchback stuff please......many of us want to see pure sports car, oh no M3 and M5/M6 are not pure sports cars. BMW you still have nothing in the supercar category, way behind Nissan. Shame on you.

Why do they need this?? Progressive Activity Sedan?? Really? It looks like it could be a stretched version of an old Saab 9000 with a BMW grill. :dunno:

Och

so it's basically a "modern" rendition of the 3 series hatchback (which I think is still on sale in Europe, no?)

I think it looks nice. Definitely looks cleaner then the current ones.

:uh: Not following you - looks clean to me. There's perforations on the seats and all kinds of shadows, maybe that's making you think it's dirty?

the center console looks dirty to me. :( or it is the texture on the surface?

Looks textured to me like some kind of suede. But even if dirty, not surprising for a test vehicle.

That IS dirt on the center console. But bit is also correct. The seats have a pattern of small holes, apparantly for ventilation so they don't get too stuffy.

Yeah, its gonna sell, its got the badge.

Hey, if Mercedes can sell an ugly-ass $65,000 Mini-Van, Im sure BMW can pull off a similar stunt. If I wanted a mini-van I'd buy a Caravan or something. The R-Class is not worth it, it's hideous and overpriced...but then again society will buy anything with a prestigeous badge on it anymore.

They're dropping certain R engines from the R series. The AMG is going to be dropped I think just the R350 will be available.

In other words, it's not selling.
