Toyota Canada lowers prices on 16 models (up to $16,800)
Toronto, Ontario - Toyota Canada has announced price reductions on the MSRP of sixteen Toyota and Lexus vehicles offered for sale across Canada. The price reduction ranges from $750 on the Toyota Yaris to $8,100 on the Lexus GX series.
"We have always monitored the Canadian market and taken action accordingly," said Stephen Beatty, Managing Director of Toyota Canada Inc. "Now, we're pleased to take these further steps. These MSRP reductions are transparent and consistent, making it easier for customers to make informed purchasing decisions. They also benefit customers, whether they are leasing, financing or purchasing their vehicles with cash."
With the announcement, the 2009 Lexus RX series is launched at lower introductory pricing, and MSRP has been reduced for all 2008 Toyota and Lexus models. Exceptions are models already adjusted late in 2007 (Prius, Tundra and Lexus GS series) and 2008 models being cleared out (Corolla, Matrix, Camry and RX 350).
They just converted most of the Cash Credits offered last December & January to an official price reduction for most Lexus models. Real prices don't make much differences, if at all, compared to the past 2 months.
Price of used Lexus cars in Canada have also dropped by quite a bit too.. Which is how I was able to afford my '05 LS.. Hope the exhange rate stays the same so I can get my new wheels..
