originally i went from an IS250 lease agreement and decided to back out and go with the G37 coupe. (i could back out becasue i never took delivery of the car becsaue they had it in another facility to be brought in, even though i signed the contract)
specifics for the IS lease:
Base IS250 12 miles per year $513/month 35 months
due at signing: only 1st months payment.
sticker 33,800 selling price 31,800
2yr free scheduled maintenance
specifics of the G37 lease: being sent from SoCal
2008 infiniti g37 journey with premium and tire and performance package
MSRP 39,815 selling price 35,315 (1000 under invoice)
total due at signing: $490
36 months 12000 miles per year $490/month for 35 months
2yr scheduled maintenance free
what do you think? i think i got a great deal. SoCal is very competitive! locally, no dealer would touch that price.
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW YOUR OPINIONS! u think i coulda done better?

I've never leased a car so I haven't studied the money factor and all that other lease stuff, but I rather be driving a G37 than an IS250 anyway. Now, if it were the IS350 that would be a much harder choice. I'm really surprised the lease deal on an IS250 is that expensive. Or, depending on how you look at it the lease deal on the G37 so cheap.
The residual on the G37 is high, ofcourse, first year out, plus I agree that it is a much nicer vehicle to drive. No comparison, even if the price were the same. Great Choice!
I see you are in TX. Much of the state doesn't routinely get snowy or icy roads (just heavy rains in the eastern part), but, if you live up in the Panhandle around Amarillo or Lubbock, consider the AWD G37X. It can get really nasty up there in the winter.
