Suggestions?? .. Looking to swap my 430 for a performance sedan!
S6 +'s:
I'll save myself at least $10k
I've been pretty impressed with Audi's performance, interior, etc.
Pretty nice torque on the engine.
S6 -'s:
I'm ho-hum about the exterior looks, as its much more conservative to me.
It's definitely has less power than the M5, at least it feels like that.
With the RS6 coming out.. I don't really want to regret..

M5 +'s:
What can I say, its a solid car. Powerful.
Love the exterior.
M5 -'s:
$$$$, I dont want to be mistaken for some spoiled little kid, as I think with my 70-80 hrs a week, I think I deserve a car I really want.

My brother just got a 5 series a few months ago, so I dont really want to have the same series he has.
Does anyone have any suggestions?? I was also looking at some SUVs such as the Q7, X5, and the Cayenne GT-S. I need a car that will accomodate a car seat for our soon to come first baby boy.
Thanks!!!
The POSSIBILITY of the GS-F is causing me to lean towards an SUV so I can get the GF-F when/if it comes out. The problem is I have NO idea about the specs and timeline.

I considered both of these cars before eventually choosing the E63. Between the S6 and the M5, I'd lean towards the S6 if it's going to be your daily driver. But no doubt the M5 is a monster. I'm just not crazy about the current 5 series styling.
Here are a couple comparison tests that may help in your decision. Note where the M5 placed in each test:

all those cars, audi 6, bmw 5, and E class are going to get redesigned pretty darn soon. all of them are close to old so just a little heads up.
id probably get the C63 or M3 just because they are "new"
My wife and I have a 7mo old and let me be the one to tell you first hand that it's a bit complicated to load a baby seat in the back of the GS. It's doable, just takes a little more time (i.e. fold the car seat handles flat, position the front seats properly to allow maneuverability of the car seat onto the base, etc). If fuel efficiency is the least of your concerns, get an SUV. I wanted an SUV, but my wife can't stand 'em.

Yea, your points are well taken. We're going to do the whole baby car seat exercise this weekend, so I'll see how it fits into my car, which I feel is a sizable mid-sized sedan.

Just an idea.
