When I lived in the Philippines, they had Nissan Patrols, but they weren't anywhere near being that fast. What's under the hood of them over there??

The patrol has been my favorite suv since i can remember. Too bad they don't have them in the U.S.

The patrols you see in these videos just have the factory engine built (duh) with big turbos.

I can't imagine an suv with that much power...too much fun.

I believe it's a relative of the RB series engine's but a turbo-diesel.

Those are definitely gasoline engines. The patrol comes in both gasoline and diesel trim.

man i want one of those. forget the lambo, i'll go faster in the patrol and still go off roading! they come with solid axles, factory lockers, skidplates, etc.

My uncle owns a nissan dealership overseas and my family owns pretty much all nissans. I have driven the most high end patrols such as the safari (has things like mini fridges in the glovebox and rear etc). They drive like a Lexus lx470 to give you a comparison and can tear up any terrain at ease like a land rover. Of course it's got the luxury items like leather, heated seats etc. Good power too specially on the gasoline engines.

Unfortunately no one in my family has modified one lol

Damn...that thing is really moving to be so big. I'd hate to need to stop it in a hurry. :eek2:
