Many magazine mention that the car feels like it's literally on rails at the racetrack; literally pick a line, floor it and hold on!
Also, don't forget that you will probably pay an additional $5K-10K for the other 2 aforementioned cars. GL to the OP with their car search! I would try to get them down to the $55K - $60K range.

Actually, it is a very nice car and has gotten great write-ups... As for the M3 and IS-F it supposedly handles and accelerates just as hard as those cars with high 12 sec (12.8/12.9) 1/4 mile...oh, don't forget that it is also AWD; the car is impressive! I know it's nice, but I don't see why I would pay the same price for a used car with 10k on the clock while you can get a brand new one at the same price?

So, in other words it's right there performance wise...maybe a couple of ticks slower; but on the street it would be a driver's race IMHO. Also, GL trying to find a brand new '08 M3 or '08 IS-F for $62K...it's not happening. I don't care what the "sticker" price is on these cars...since these new models just came out Lexus and BMW are asking high $$$ premium for them over sticker price of course. Also, one MAJOR plus is aftermarket support. As far as BMW and Audi they make MANY chip modules and perfomance computers for these cars...I doubt that's going to be the case with Lexus. Never has, never will. You can get a the "universal" Jet performance computer flash but I heard it is worthless from many users. BMW and Audi can easly wring out more performance with the addition of one of these computer chips.

I agree...peformance wise (without the room and 4drs) the used NSX is hands down a better choice. You can probably scoop one up for about half of what is wanted for the Audi.

rs4's are sick.. especially considering you never see them anywhere.
the only thing that always sucked about them was they're overpriced as well. they maybe not as much as m3's and gtr's and LF-A's... but they're overpriced in their ownright... negotiate him down to 30k and you got yourself a deal LOL jk

I just saw an Edmunds video of the 2007 RS4...4.6 seconds to 60 and 12.8 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The IS-F ran 4.8 seconds to 60 and 13.1 in the 1/4 same day, same driver, same track, same conditions....Props to Lexus though because this is their first "crack" at a sports car (sedan) as someone else previously wrote.
