Is Aston Martin about to break with tradition and introduce a mid-engined V10supercar to challenge Lamborghini and Ferrari? This model has caused a stir on the Internet, where message boards are awash with images of the sleek machine.

But while Aston is said to be considering a new two-seater to sit at the top of its range, it would probably be front-engined – unlike this suggestion by Dutch designer Sabino Leerentveld.

It's a beautiful design. 2 issues:

1. Extremely low profile + high door sills = Dukes of Hazard entry

2. 2' front overhang will scrape everything. I'm sure AM can offer a system to raise the front for speed bumps (like Lambo), but with the front that low and long, you'd have to slow for any sort of road irregularity.

Even if AM had to tone it down, I'd love to see a MR AM go into production.

It's a bit disproportionate from the C-pillar back.

Otherwise, I love that racing green look!
