BLK98GS3 05-19-08, 08:17 PM wow! Cant wait to see the numbers that this car has the potential of putting out
So did they crack the ECU finally? Which means all they need now is to slap on some bigger turbines to rip apart some more cars now hehe...imagine, supras versus skylines in America for once...hehehe...oh the fun it will be.

Sure will be for everyone who can still afford 100 octane fuel.
speedflex 05-19-08, 11:05 PM It's just a Nissan. blah
:boring: Huh? Wha? Oh, this old response again.
TXSTYLE 05-19-08, 11:20 PM Yep just a Nissan... That happens to beat the iconic 911 TT in nearly every performance aspect you can imagine. For half the price.
erm......... A Haltech is an aftermarket ECU like a motec, HKS Vpro etc....
They didn't do a "mod"... just saying.
lexmenow 05-20-08, 09:54 AM That evo got smoked :eek2:
Jujharoo 05-20-08, 09:56 AM You still keep the factory warranty. DAMN. NICE
I wonder what it would do with some basic bolt ons.
cherplex 05-20-08, 10:06 AM Nice........ I cannot wait to see a big single turboed GT-R with supporting mods
PureDrifter 05-20-08, 11:07 AM Sure will be for everyone who can still afford 100 octane fuel.
or water/meth injection :P
The only bad thing is the high markup.

The only problem is all the Nissan dealers want 911TT price for their Nissan. :thumbdn:
Coco-bun 05-20-08, 11:47 AM thats cool and all but id rather see it on the track, not strip.
Overclocker 05-20-08, 12:08 PM Very impressive.
I'm guessing these are the type of #'s we'll see when the GT-R V-Spec comes out.

Not so much of a problem thus far.
LONDON — Nissan says it has taken a year's worth of orders — more than 1,500 — from European customers for the new GT-R, which won't reach dealers until next March.
In the meantime, the initial allocation of 2008 GT-Rs is sold out in the U.S., where the first cars should start arriving in July. Nissan said it has already taken orders for 60 percent of next year's U.S. allocation.
In Europe, much of the demand is coming from the U.K., where Nissan presold 950 GT-Rs in the first month. The order book officially opened on April 2.
Nissan said GT-Rs will be delivered to European customers through 56 Nissan High Performance Centres, which will pamper owners with such perks as free pickup for scheduled service, a vacation planning service and even a "home assistance" program that will provide access to plumbers, locksmiths, electricians and other services.
What this means to you: If you don't hustle in your GT-R order soon, you may wind up waiting until model-year 2010. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

This thread should be NWS :D
Man this car is sexy..how can you guys bash on it for being a Nissan?
sleeper408 05-20-08, 02:08 PM This car's results keep on impressing me.
So it runs identical times with more boost and a major aftermarket ECU mod as that one article that everyone called 'massaged'
So this does indeed confirm, the GTR that was being reviewed that ran a 124mph several months ago, was indeed a fraud and modified from the factory. Thanks for the confirmation.
Faraaz23 05-20-08, 04:40 PM This car never ceases to amaze me.
Good job for Haltech for cracking it in just one week. I am just curious, as with all ECU-jobs on turbo cars, is to how this affects reliability a couple years down the road. It seems as if motors today are not ridiculously over-built hunks of cast iron as in the days of the Supras and R34's.
darkdream 05-20-08, 05:05 PM It's just a Nissan. blah
Thats like the typical American ideology... buying things simply for their brand name... its probably why so many Americans people are in debt too...
