He says he's not hurting anyone, and I would agree if he was doing this only to his own cars (or to cars of people who consented to it), but if he's doing it randomly to strangers' cars, that ain' right.

I would not appreciate coming outside to my car in the morning only too see mysterious hand prints (and... other evidence) all over the trunk of my car. That WOULD be hurting someone... It's almost sort of a form of rape, haha. That car can't tell him no if its owner isn't there to defend it.
