Okay fellas, what is an acceptable amount to spend on wheels and still expect to get a good, lightweight, show wheel? I am hearing 3-4k just for the wheels and that is just not happening for me. I would rather spend that lute on performance mods. $3k I might do but that would include tires and TPMS as well. I have a 335i coupe and I am looking for something modern and reasonabley priced. Help me out fellas(and ladies if there are any out there)!

TireRack.com Tip: use your existing tires and retain that worldclass handling BMW is known for and you have paid for.

I have seen several posters go to Modbargains to buy wheels and get a few sets that look good for under 3k. I wonder if the wheel is that well made since it was cheaper. What is better, one piece or 3 piece wheels?

You can always luck on a set of used (good condition) wheels and tires w/ TPMS, but as far finding what you're looking for and your specified criteria, it won't be easy.

I see what you guys are talking about. It seems as though the wheels are pretty expensive for a good set. I might have to pass on this until I let the price of my Dinan modifications blow over this year.

You can grab a decent pair of gramlights or works around that price point. You can also regularly check for used wheels that are up for sale :)

Or as stated, buy a set of used wheels from a reputable seller.
