For those who are still wondering if I sold the SC300... I have for almost nothing... I would first like to say Thanks for all who helped me along the way. From all the forums I've been on this has to be the best, But unfortunately I've jumped the fence... to Nissan 350Z. Shes got 55k, 6-speed, Navi, Heated Leather seats, HIDS, and Homelink system. Well anyway heres some pics...

What are the immediate differences that you notice between your 350Z and your previous SC 300?

I've driven a SC 400, but never a SC 300. I also drove a 350Z auto and it seemed to be much stiffer. Much less on the Luxury side of things and more sporty. Are you liking the ride quality of the 350Z? Any difference on the 350Z and G35 Coupe, in terms of ride quality?

Toyota is not entirely devoid of coupes. There's the Scion tC, and the Lexus SC430 can be considered a coupe (but with a completely worthless back seat) with the top up. But, I agree, Toyota currently has nothing in the American market to directly compete with the 350Z, though there is some talk of bringing back the Supra.

Congragulations on the Z, TheCoupe. :)

One word of caution, though. Keep an eye on tire wear and an ear for unusual tire-related road noises. Early 350Z's had bad suspension settings/specs at the factory, which caused premature and uneven tire wear, howling road noise, and other suspension problems. Nissan had service bulletins and a recall on some of the affected cars. Check with Nissan customer service or your local dealer service department to see if your car's VIN was one of them. In some cases, customers got suspension modifications and a new set of tires free.

And let's not forget about the Solara.

Although it's not a sporty car, it's the only Japanese mid-size car that has a convertible option...

Congrats on getting the Z. I'm sure you'll miss you old SC 300.

Hopefully Toyota or Lexus brings in more coupes such as the hybrid Supra, IS 250/350 coupe and the next generation SC 460...

I second that! Also, if your VIN is within 1-50000 (the last numbers in the series), you'll most likely have tranny issues (3rd gear grind or transmission chatter in neutral). Luckily, I got my tranny replaced before the warranty ran out.
