Lexus has announced price increase for four 2009 models including the 2009 SC 430, LX 570, GX 470 and the RX400h hybrid SUV. The 2009 LX 570 large-SUV sees the largest bump in price with an increase of 1.3 percent or $1,005 to $75,705.

The 2009 SC 430 gets a price increase of $450 dollars or 0.7 percent to $66,805. Let’s not forget - Lexus’ parent company Toyota has canceled plans to build a next-generation SC due to sluggish sales.

The mid-size GX 470 SUV remains unchanged for 2009 but will see a price increase of 0.6 percent or $300 to $47,615. The 2008 RX 400h SUV front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive will see an increase of $500 each to $42,080 and $43,480 respectively.

Lexus mentality is why change something thats already perfect LOL, honestly they only have themselves to blame for the slow down of the car selling :egads:

Seriously, that old SC430 has got to get redesigned. I'm surprised they sell any of them, as it's such an old (as in ancient) body style now.

yea, i wouldnt buy a new SC430, i'd find a used one ... less $$ for the same car :p
