Ah yes. Nice to see your attitude back. I thought it was gone for a while. It would be dull without you around here. ;) There is nothing cool about some loser trying to make his C-Class look like an S-Class, IMHO.

Yes, wide body kits are cooler (but I don't like them all that much) and I don't know what you mean by "Lexus rice".

I still don't understand why people cram the wheels into the wheel wells of their car... yeah it looks pretty nice, but that thing probably only has a couple centimeters of suspension travel... I wouldn't even be surprised if it was a solid rear axle - and being an S-class wanna be, the guy probably ran out of money after the kit and wheels and chopped the front springs.

(That's a joke, but it is rather rediculous.)

oooooooooooh, you meant an s class poser. I wasnt aware of that actually. I thought you said that just to say it. The Lexus Rice comment was because when I visit the IS forums, someone posts a pic of some wacko and way overdone body kit and says its gorgeous. There was also a Wide Body LS somewhere around here that looked ridiculous. But hey, thats my opinion. I dont like overdone and "rice" style kits.

cheers

Yeah, I agree with you. People have to be careful with body kits. There's a fine line between sporty/good-looking kits and Batmobile wannabes.

Um, how is that car an S-Class poser???? It looksnothing like one. It still looks like a C-Class with shaved emblems, and actually it hink the car looks pretty pimp.

CamRen and futuregs: Whatever. I don't like it. I don't care if you do. It's called an opinion.

EDIT: Cam, I think any stock Lexus looks better than that thing.

Dude, you'd be surprised. My Lex is definetly not all that, so I would be the last person to but other cars down (although I do it a lot, but I shouldn't and don't really mean to). I've become a lot more open-minded recently. I don't even mind well-modified FWD cars, and that's something I thought I'd never say. I never said Lex is flat-out better than that Benz, just better looking. And that's judging style, which is hard to argue about, even though we all do it. That C-Class isn't bad-looking, but it just looks too much like an S-Class, and I don't really like that. I 've really grown up recently, and I appreciate pretty much all cars.

Note: I criticise Nissan/Infiniti a lot because they refuse to make cars that stand out in the area of safety. But other than that, I think they're great. And just because I criticise BMW, Benz, etc. that doesn't mean I don't have respect them. You can dislike something but still have respect for it.

Peace out, bro.

1) That is a C-Class, not a S-Class. The S-Class does NOT have the third brake light on the trunk...the C-Class does.

2) Those are Carlsson 2/6 wheels. 19".

3) That's a Carlsson rear bumper lip.

4) I don't know what kind of trunk spoiler that is.

5) IMO, that's a nice looking car. Price is too high (for what it is), but it looks nice...

Gene, it's not the same car...the one at F1 has a Lorinser DTM kit with Lorinser wheels...that one (the F1 version) looks REALLY NICE! Silver with that nice grey interior...love it! Drives nice too!

let me defend the wannabe -

1) yes, sadly, c-classes are over priced. but they are awsome cars and you pay for the name of MB.

2) for you that confused this car with an s-class or think hes trying to make it look like one, well, the c-class was designed after the s-class. its a smaller s. thats all. from a distance they can look identical. subtle differences (besides the size) can give it away - 3rd break light (like manaray said), different head light display, the c-class is more curved than the s-class.

3) personally i think the big wheels on that look great :D

Gene - oh...hehehe...

I don't know why some people have such hatred...it's not a bad looking car...sure, it's overpriced but hey, if they sold that for the same price as a IS300 (configured the same way), I would consider it over an IS300...well, until the reliability issue crops up... :)

That's just standard Lorinser or AMG kit. I could be wrong on either one, but I saw an almost identical car in my neighborhood and I always was commenting on how clean and simple the add-on kit is. The wheels are old-school Lorinser and the "dumped look" is very very popular among local Indonesians. And no, just becoz the wheels are sitting inside the fender well doesn't mean the suspension only has a couple of cms of travel.

Looks like a Carlsson kit, definitely Carlsson rims...

IMO I think it looks really neat. I love the look of it. Actually, Benz and Bimmers here in Australia are usually modified the same way from what I've seen around my area, dumped with nice (read expensive) German rims, and yes, the ones I see are mostly owned by Indonesians :D At least around my area haha.

I think it's rather clean and a nice looking car.

when it comes to posing, if it has s class emblems that would be posing. when it is just upgraded and nice looking, that's called a good mod.
