I drove 1000+ miles in 3 days for the East Coast Meet in
Cherokee. I drove an 850 mile roundtrip to and from
Smyrna DE in 3 days, too. I also have several 300-500
mile trips, in 2-3 days, under my belt.
I love driving the Lex! :D

10 day trip, drove from Dallas, TX to Birmingham for a wedding, then to Cherokee NC to start the blue ridge parkway. Followed the blue ridge to it's end in Front Royal, VA. Then, on to visit relatives outside Washington DC. Then, on the way back, stopped in Atlanta, GA to visit relatives, and then back home. Total mileage approx. 4,000. (and my driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway finished off my Continentals)

Aww, ya asked too soon...
I bought an sc430 this winter w/ the plan of a 5+ week driving trip this spring down the west coast, across to Oklahoma relatives, up to Michigan relatives, back along northern border -- but nowhere near that direct. Probably stay a few days in San Diego, but generally like to drive. First 200 miles for the day is warmup, but I've got some work to do on the suspension and tires before setting out.
We travel light.
This distance won't be unheard of. I've done similar distances in: '68 VW bug (3 people, camping!); '57 Chevy BelAir (solo); '75 Datsun B210 (two + any hitchhiker); crossed India & Nepal in a WWII-vintage LandRover. So, this is my first trip in anything "reliable". ;) I've also done 220 miles of the Oregon coast by bicycle in 16 days; 90 miles of the Oregon Trail, and less of the Pacific Crest trail, on foot - guess I just like longish trips, and much more the travelling than the arriving at a destination.
I'll check back on this thread at the end...

Back last night from a great trip: solo going south from Astoria, OR to Ventura Beach, CA on Hiway 101 and 1, with many detours, then I-5 to San Diego and just shy of Tijuana, 1499.7 miles in 5 days; wife met me in San Diego for a few days of the Zoo, Wild Animal Park (do the photo shoot, even if you don't have a camera, to really see the animals) and the 59 mile scenic drive around San Diego (and Star of the Sea for one of the best meals of my life); then a 2-day detour to Anzo-Borrego and Joshua Tree Monument before coming back to the coast near San Simeon and a couple of very lazy days in Big Sur, up 1 to CA-20 and across to I-5 to Mt. Shasta and then on home, 3434.4 miles in 15 days. Would have spent longer but didn't want to hit the Memorial Day crowd...
OK, obligatory car photo (first try, so we'll see if this works) - I'm not big on car pictures, but I figured I would do one for the club:

What a car... Longest day was SF to San Diego. I meandered down the coast to arrive at Ventura Beach at 4pm on a Saturday, and deciding a town kegger wasn't really what I wanted, so I continued -- and felt completely refreshed. I guess Miles Davis and the miles went together well that day.
The good: cruisin' the coast hiway with top down and music turned up - Dvorak's New World Symphony in Humboldt county...oh, my.
The bad: sidewall puncture on Saturday afternoon in Lost Hills, CA (the hills got lost - it's completely flat for 20 miles in every direction). Jerry at OK tires was great, but I have Michelin Pilot Sports and no spare, so the choice was sit for a couple days or patch the tire and void the warranty. So much for the warranty, on a tire that was brand new two weeks before this trip... sigh.
The Ugly: twilight drive south of Redding CA, with bugs so thick it sounded like hail and I had to stop every 45 minutes to clean the windshield. Car was cleaned day before in Monterey... yuck. I have a picture from when I got home, and even the cat is revolted.
Oh, I think I'll do this again starting on Tuesday...:D
