looks nice but i prefer the lines of the G35 coupe as well as the interior on the Infiniti version... I wish the convertible would go to Infiniti too... oh well..

I prefer the looks of the 350z convertible than its coupe version, but I agree that almost any rag-top looks horrid with its top up.

Both the 350Z and the G35 coupe's interior leave a lot to be desired, otherwise they 're both great handling performance cars that match or exceed the European rivals that cost tens of thousands more.

Thanks for the pics!! Can't you get the navigation system on that car and eliminate the cheap ass plastic door on the dash?? That is a beautiful car!! I heard that the passenger seat moves forward automatically when the top goes down (or up??) to keep from smacking the passenger on the head. I'm glad that's not an SC430 characteristic! Take care.

One of the guys who works at our Nissan store just dropped by with it. It just arrived sat. and he put it into demo service. Not sure about the navi or the top going down action. I was working a few deals and didnt have alot of time however my internet guy took these photos so I could post them.

Nice pic, you can't beat that price. Plus the 350 looks better

This one with automatic was 38k. Seems cheap.

"It's All Good" I too have seen a Red one, and it is BEAUTIFUL! And the 'Bang For The Buck' factor as far as "Presence/Performance/Reliability" go is UNSURPASSED!

With the convertible Nissan, now you can see that HORRIBLE interior in all it's glory. I don't see nothing bang for the buck about a 35-40k Z? A 25-30k Z is bang for the buck. Nissan dealer service is worse than their reliability.

At this rate, it will cost just as much as the outgoing 300ZX. without TT or Super Hicas steering and a great interior in a couple of years.

The 350Z is a great car and when they are 15k in 2 years, it makes a GREAT 2nd car.

i gotta admit, the 350z interior leaves a lot to be desired in terms of the quality of the materials. however, i bought ithe 350Z beacuse its a nice looking(to me anyway) and fun sports car. it cant touch my gs luxury wise. however, i would take it over the ugly, overpriced sc430 anyday, especially considering the price. by the way, i just happened to read one of those car mags ( cant remember which) where the sc got last place and was a dog compared to the other convertibles.:D what were they thinking comparing it to a porsche and benz:rolleyes:

Lets not lose sight that all you label *****s that our Lexus is a souped up Toyota and my old Maxima ran great for the $125000 miles I put on it. The z is awesome looking and because it doesn't say Lexus or MB or Audi (poop) then it must not be good. this site never seems to amaze me.

The 350Z is a great car. There is no question. Especially for the price. But, you claim the SC is overpriced. I think you mean overpriced for YOU. Every magazine article considers the SC to be an outstanding bargain. It absolutely belongs in the crowd in the Road and Track article. Does it deserve to win?? Who knows?? It performs equal to the SL in almost all statistical categories. It is built for a grand touring mission and not balls to the wall sporting. It does that as good as any car in the world. It is more expensive than a 350Z, but don't call it overpriced when comparing it to vehicles that it was meant to compete with.

the 350Z roadster looks great with the top down.

With the top up it looks mighty ugly. They should make the top extend all the way to the end of the car, not round like a TT. :thumbdn: Remember the custom 350Z convertible someone did a few months back? That one looked great. Wonder if anyone kept those pics.

yeah youre right, its overpriced for me. anyway, its still ugly. and for those who think because a car is not a lexus, it is junk, the sc430 is defintiely no benz. the sl is boss!

If a $62K SC is overpriced, then what does that make the $87K SL ??!! They are almost identical in features and engine, and most consider the SC to use better materials and be a bit more luxurious. I won't even mention reliability :rolleyes: Imagine what you could do with the extra $25K while the other guy's sitting in the MB service dept. !!

I just wish that they had put more effort into a turbo for the 350Z and left the drop top on the back burner.
Kind of shows me what audience they are shooting for.

What has happened to this forum? It used to be a great place to read about other owners' experiences with the cars and find out about mods, service issues, etc. Now it seems that every other thread I read is just about some hater taking pot shots at our car. :eek2:

What is the attraction? If people like ATLgs4 think our car is so ugly, why not stick with the GS forum or Fresh Alloy? (Oh, maybe it's because someone in the GS forum said the 350Z looked like a toad taking a crap.) Anyway, I would never go to Fresh Alloy and rag on the G35 or 350Z because I know these owners love their cars. These guys need lives!

The toad taking a crap comment was hilarious!!! It's easy to pick on cars that are as great as the SC. When you're the best car manufacturer, everyone wants to pick on you. It's apparently not just us that think it's the best!! Ask JD Power and associates. Oh well!!!

Well said, Gene. Both the CL and SL are stunning cars. If they were better built, I wouldn't have a problem shelling out the $$$ either.
