I got back together with my once ex-girlfriend and we ended up arguing like crazy for a whole week. She'd be normal, then she'd get upset over something little. I didn't want to deal with it and it just put more stress on me and she always made me feel like I was worthless. I also had to hide it from my folks because my parents hated her. I told her it just wouldn't work out no matter what and we broke up. That night she came to my friend's place to tell me that she was going back to North Carolina. I felt bad but at the same time I couldn't do anything about it. One of my friends (girl) yelled in the background "don't leave" -- and my ex-girlfriend got extremely pissed off.

She started punching me and scratching me and then started biting me when i was trying to get her off of me. My friend came out and she pulled out a pocket knife and started to swing at me cutting my arm. My friend got in the middle of this and now has two long cuts on his chest (didn't fully penetrate). My friend (which is a girl) came out to try and calm her down ... my ex started punching her in the ribs.

She was screaming on the ground when her friends came to pick her up. A cop (neighbor of my friend ... he's in college) said if I ever want to press charges to let him know. She ended up leaving. My friends and I were okay. Nothing serious but it could have been. She's leaving to North Carolina soon and I figured that if I didn't have anything else to do with her then I'd be more better off. Didn't press charges but I still can... not sure if I should since she's got nothing and there's a part of me that feels horrible for her.

I need to find a girl that's "stable" ... if you know what I mean ... :(

Hopefully each of us, regardless of whether we travel far, can open our minds and hearts to be tolerant of others as much of the time as possible.

Only one lane roads, with passing places every few hundred yards. You can always see someone coming and either they or you have enough time to pull over.

Since it's far North it isn't the friendliest climate around. We had sunny as well as cloudy and rainy days there in May of last year. Probably better to go in July or August if weather is important.

No, but one of the amazing B&B's we stayed at brought glasses of scotch and shortbread cookies to our room (and lit the fire) each evening. I definitely enjoyed that scotch!

LOL!!! I am one of the "True Veterans" here my friend. And yes...It was because of my 98' GS400 that brought me here years ago. ;) In fact, I sold it just a few months ago. Ha ha! I like this thread...my girl and I just broke up recently though, and we lived together with our 3 year old daughter. So now I have to find a new place to live, within the next 2 weeks...damn...oh well, the good part is I'm finally free...John Tan, I'm in Hollywood all the time dude. I actually went to this club, I think it was Las Palmas, a week or so ago and I was the only black dude there! ha ha ha ha, I love when that happens!! That way you know which chicks like you and which ones don't, saves me time and money at the bar...

Good luck @ the football game. when I was single but wanted to get serious with someone I had the following guidelines, mayb eit will help.

The purpose of any relationship is to grow into something great. At first, it's physical attraction, then that gets old and your mate becomes "common". When that stage hits, most relationships are over. For people with something deeper, you continue to build. I would always assume that "she" was in the same place in life that I was - playing around, not really looking for anything serious. So if she WAS the one I wanted to be serious with, I would give her three months to gradually disconnect the male friends that aren't substantial, like her best friend since jr.high, etc. All exes, guys she's occasionally seeing - after three months they need to lose her number if we're going to move on. And naturally, I would do the same. This gives you both a little freedom without feeling like there is no escape and that you're married. It shows that you have some understanding of her lifestyle and aren't trying to handcuff her and pin her down while you still get to go out with the boys and have an excuse for still talking to YOUR exes. After 90 days, if you're still together and she's not willing to commit to you exclusively...... NEXT!

I'm glad I caught this thread where I did. About the exes and random booty calls, it's tough when the two of you are on different levels. If you're broken up, and just wanna be cool with some random stuff on the side, but she, without you knowing, wants to get back together, then any random hookup will feel like you're getting backk together for her, when that is NOT on your mind. Trust me, it happened like 5 days ago. Bad stuff comes of this, but if she's gonna try to keep tabs on you and control your life from the outside...:thumbdn: Screw that.

I was with a perfect, wonderful, beautiful girl for 1 1/2 years, and things kinda went bad all at once, she was up in Illinois going to grad school, I was still here in OK, and she discovered her relationsip with God. Not a bad thing just that it didn't include me. witch really blew. now the sick and twisted part. One of my boys from the grade school days got married in June. I was in the wedding and saw the only hot bridesmaid. Talked with her and found out she is from Illinois. SAME FREAKIN TOWN AS MY EX!!!
