I get minor service at the local Toyota dealer. It's closer, takes less time and is less expensive using the same parts.

I only let lexus do the stuff I can`t. I.e. tranny flush, steam clean, etc...

I use lexus tech's on the more serious things heck my local toyota dealership didn't even know that the sc400 fuel filter was located in the rear of the car and told me they had one in stock boy what a waste of a day for me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other things I just do myself so I know it gets done right.

I do everything that I can myself. That way it's done right and I know exactly what's going on with my ride. For major things, like engine mounts, I take it to an independent mechanic who I trust.

60% help from my Dad and 40% do it myself.

If I can't fix it I always take it to Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte.

I like the attenion of the Indy's plus I get to stand there and pester them while they work!!

I have a local Performance Shop (Passen Motorsports) do everything on my car. I have had it for 3 years now, and not one worry. Anyways, isn;t that what it is all about. BTW ... I used to sell Lexus, and if you have all the service records from a Lexus dealership on a Lexus ... if you trade it in at a Lexus dealership they will give you more for it. It's a company policy :)

lexus.... the only other shop that touches my car is R & W tire in bordentown, i know the owner they do tires, rims, suspension stuff etc. good people :)

hate my local dealer. sucks there's only one dealer in town and the next one's 100 miles away.

i used to take my car to the local dealer... now i only take it there if i need a loaner

i am lucky that i have a mechanic i can trust to do the right thing at a independent mechanic for most of the stuff.

if something is easy to do, i try to do it on my own.

anything i cant do.. i take it to the dealer...they always hook me up!
