saw a Toyota Caldina on the street today passing right in front of me. Didn't get to see what license plate it was but it didn't look like a dealer plate from a distance. Definitely not a CA plate. Looks kinda blueish/white color. Maybe some sign. Very amazing. Didn't have my camera with me tho, sucks. Maybe it'll be here soon!?!?
If, by any chance Toyota's testing it, that would be huge...
The Caldina has a 260hp 3S-GTE engine and AWD, and that means all MR2 Turbo owners (like I will be soon) would suddenly have a lot more aftermarket support in the US

BTW, you sure it wasn't a new Scion hatch?
I can gurantee you 1000000% it's a Caldina. I look at xAs every day and I have a xB in my garage The front end, the side/rear windows, and those funky taillights on the Caldina, you can't confuse it with ANY other car on the road.
And this is not the 1st time I've seen a Caldina here. I saw a orange-metallic one near Carson Toyota like before summer, and saw the exact same colored one on the 91 freeway heading towards Torrance (Toyota HQ, hmmm.....)
The one I saw a few days ago was silver. Looks VERY nice. Too bad I forgot to see if there's a hood scoop on it (3S-GTE AWD version)

The new Caldina only comes in AT in Japan. However if the 4AT is as good as the SupraTT one, I wouldn't worry about it being AT And it's semi-auto anyways.
