"DRIVER KILLED IN CRASH: A state trooper peers into the wreckage of a sedan after a two-car fatality Thursday night on U.S. 20 a half-mile west of the Alpine Road exit. The accident occurred at 8:47 p.m. Police said a green Lexus was eastbound on U.S. 20, left the road, crossed through the median and struck a westbound Ford Explorer. The impact of the crash split the Lexus into two. The Lexus driver was killed; the Explorer driver was taken to SwedishAmerican Hospital."
Holly and we thought the ferrari in that Thrashers' accident was destroyed. Maybe the pic should be a sticky in the "race enthousiast" forum just to remind everyone what could happen. I'm not implying it was caused by racing but still. Just my $ .01.
That looks pretty grim. They must have been going very fast to disintegrate the car on impact like that. I don't think airbags and a seatbelt would have helped the Lexus driver. Hope the other driver pulls thru. This is a timely reminder that our actions affect the lives of others in many ways. Be careful out there.

I enlarged it but...it just shows how mangled the mystery Lexus got. My guess is an newer ES300 or LS430 take a look at the headlight frame. Wait, now that I look at it more I'm not sure that even is a headlight frame .
