If you need to get some perspective or appreciation on how incredible you car is just drive something else for about a month. Drive a regular car like a Ford or Chevy for a few weeks then get back into your GS and feel the joy.
I'm sure we all have a memory about the first time we saw the GS and drove it for the first time.
WOW! Thats all I needed and I said to myself "THIS IS IT"-You know what I mean. I knew it was only a matter of time and money before I would be cruzin in one.
yah after driving the loaner ES300 for a while I always miss my GS.
Another way to fall in love again is do some nice mods. When i changed my grill the car looked much more sportier. Also, when I got spacers for my rear wheels I felt like the car changed alot also.
My conclusion is, when there's something you feel like it's not right on your car, and you fix it, it feels totally different.
Tell me about it. I've been driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee (no, not the Grand), and the difference is amazing. I was thinking for a while that my GS was idleing rough, but driving this other car I now realize the idle is like a hot knife through warm butter.
I get the same feeling when I go from my wife's 97 Maxima SE to my GS. It feels like going from some cardboard box to a metal box. The Max feels so light and unsubstantial. The GS feels so solid, planted and does not flex at all. All the STB's and LCB's effect no doubt!!!
Or drive a FWD rental. Talk about noisy & busy up front.... And what do they use for tires on those things?
During a recent trip to Alaska, while driving a Grand Am, I kept saying, "I wish I had the SC up here."
I traded my GS for a SVT Lighting so I could move some stuff last night\today. I love the GS, but there is something about this truck, WAY to much fun.
I had a few GS's now and I love them, the biggest thing I have to do when I get tired of it, is just clean the damn thing. When it is all cleaned up, I couldn't be happier.

When I am feeling like I need something new I just do what jpa2400 stated... I get out and clean everything I can, wash her all up and sit back and just smile, then jump in and take her out and about...
