If you notice, there is a trend growing in Club Lexus. One paticular person has started 50% of the debate threads, and in those ALMOST ALL HAVE BEEN USED TO DISCREDIT THIS COUNTRY and the effort we are trying to COMPLETE. Even though they are suppose to be about the Bush Admin.. THEY ARE US SOLDIERS OUT THERE, they are going to be there for a long time SO WE NEED TO SUPPORT ANYTHING GOOD THEY MAY DO..
Regardless of whos in office, the soldiers will have to tuff it out for possibly years to come, we SHOULD be support them and their efforts. If they do find WMD then they will get to come home quicker because then I feel more countries would become involved.

Why don't you and other folks start more threads talking about how we can complete the effort and support our troops?
Whether we approve of the activities of our government or not, we are where we are in terms of Iraq, our economy, etc.
How about a bit of positive brainstorming about how to make the future better instead of complaining about decisions in the past or the situation we're in? I've got an open challenge for anyone posting in this forum... how about accompanying any negative discussions with some specific and implementable ideas on how to make it better given the current situation?

Stop whining just because you read things you don't like to hear. If you want things to be different, change them yourself. Post all the positives about this hectic war. Post all the positives about Bush. If you can't find anything, well hopefully you'll open up your eyes and discover what the real problem is. Starting threads like this, won't turn me into some complacent political sheep, it also won't work to discredit or disparage me, because what I speak is still the truth, no matter what label you put on me, or how sarcastic your jabs at me are. Grow up and deal with politics head-on. If you can't, no one is forcing you to come here.
When has ANYONE complained about the troops? Quit using sentimentality, duty, and patriotism as ploys to dodge accountability with this Administration. I point out everything that is wrong with the Bush Administration so that some people, I know not you, will come to grips with just how horrid of a leader he is. And hopefully, from 2004-2008, 400 more US troops don't have to die because we were duped into a fallicious war that some struggle to find goodness in.

Questioning the government is an essential part of any democracy. If you dont like what this "certain member" writes, discuss the issues with him, rather than resorting to stupid attacks on his character like a 5 year old would. If you dont like the fact that some people dont accept everything which the government/media spew, and think for themselves, then YOU are the one who isnt being patriotic.
I know that lex400sc supports your troops in Iraq, however, supporting them means that he doesnt want them to be killed/injured, it doesnt mean that he should support a war which he thinks should not be going on. Trying to paint him as unpatriotic because he questions the government is slander...he quite obviously supports the nation, but not the administration, which are two entirely different entities altogether.

Before you become ignorant to everything I said. You should first look at a person who doesn't only question the current admin, but ANYTHING this country has done. He has not spoken well of ANYTHING related to ANYTHING this country does that offends ANYONE.
Its only diverse to you people when its YOUR WAY... Get a clue, thats why more and more people are switching to Republican!
He has "hidden" the way he says things about our troops, there is no support in anything he rights about our troops. All he says is that WE are killing innocent people, not taking into account how many innocent people their former dictator killed...
If you notice, there is a thread asking what we should do..... lex400sc has been talking about everything WE DID... he has no original thought, he has yet to come up with an idea of what we SHOULD DO...
All he can do is talk about what WE DIDN'T DO.... Hind sight is always clearer than predicting the future.

The issue is not in your arguments or his arguments...its that from what I see, you constantly resort to personal attacks on his character, calling him unpatriotic, saying he doesn't support the troops, etc.
Also, I am not a liberal or a republican, sorry to disappoint you. I'm not even American...
What are your suggestions to improve the situation in Iraq? I didnt see you offer anything along the lines of answering your own question. Rather than jumping on lex for saying that the war should not have been in the first place, and subsequently jumping on him for saying that the war has been handled improperly, why dont you offer your suggestions first. If you offer and defend your ideas before trying to trash others' ideas, you will be given a whole lot more respect and more consideration will be given to your ideas.

You're absolutely right OLT. Here, I'll start...
That was very well stated fvellani. You have excellent character and conduct yourself very well despite the brash tone you are often confronted with. I commend your civility and objectivity :) http://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif.

You're impossible...your reply to that thread detailing your suggestions was made AFTER I posted my comments above. However, you deserve props for making your own suggestions rather than trying to shoot down those of everyone else.

I know i'm impossible:D Anyhow, I didn't respond to my own thread because I wanted to hear OTHERS opinions on what should be done in Iraq, not my own. I chose to post that information because I was thinking of what I would do and didn't have an comment right away. Thanks for noticing though.
