I say onyx. Its a little smokier than the jet black and on my car I have 5% onyx all the way around. Looks great. Jet black looks too flat if you have glossy paint. And platinum....not my personal style.
Well I am in Montreal, Canada and the law recommand that we are not able to put over 50% tint on front doors so I don't care, Ima go 20% all around or more !
I have a black car and my tint is a titanium tint. I didn't want charcoal, but wanted a lil reflective so I chose the titanium tint. IMO reflective tints and mirror tints look the best on silver cars.
don't get chrome. it will atract too much attention. and also it looks kinda ghetto if its all your windows. just get limo tint. i have 5% limo ALL around and have gotten 1 ticket in the last 2 years. its very well worth the 40 dollars. (10 dollar fixit ticket, 30 to get it retinted

At what time of day were you ticketed?
I've heard police officers typically ticket people at night, when the cop cannot see what is inside the car (no matter what % tint one has).
Have you ever meen messed with for limo tint during the day?
The reason I ask is because I have 50/20/20 (front side/rear side/rear windshield) and was ticketed at 2am because the 50% looks like limo at night. Almost everybody I know has been nailed for tint at night. So I figure no matter what level of tint one has, everybody is on even ground at night. All tint looks limo. The question is whether the police bother with window tint offenders during the day. If not, I'd go ahead and go 20% on the front sides.
