What do you use to dry your car?

this is going to sound dumb but what is the upkeep on a WW MF.. i'm trying to find care instructions on pakshak.

I hand wash my WW-MF after each use in Woolite and hot water 1:6 dilution. I rinse until the water runs clean and final rinse in a bucket with water and an ounce of vinegar. Squeeze out and let air dry. I use this procedure with all my microfiber towels.

I wish I could afford the CRspotless system. Filter is a bti too epensive for me because i have 4 cars at home so I'm guessing the filter wont last me long enough that I can recover fundings

So instead, I bought 3 inline filter housing. The first stage has the carbon sediment filter that filters down to 5 micron. I would go with something smaller, but I didn't want to restrict the flow that much, and plus, calcium goes through 5 micron filter like air goes through your front grille . Second stage has the dionizer filter in it (filled with DI resin) that actually works with the calcium. Since the water flows pretty quickly, one of those filter isn't enough so I had to get the same thing for my 3rd stage Why have 2 when you can have 3. lol. Any more than that, I'm afraid water flow will be overkill. Plus the resin is only $12 or so and will last me for 3 months.

People thinks i'm nuts for buying a water filter system. I think it good stuff

I use MicroRestore from CMA (properautocare.com). You can get a gallon for $22.95 which is the best deal I have found.

Tide He does an okay job but the specialty detergents have always done a bit better for me.

I have tested many microfiber products and they are not all the same. Cheap microfibers are not made with the same materials or with the same quality and they can scratch. I only use the good stuff. Check the microfiber products from PacShak or Meguiar's. They are among the best, IMHO, and don't scratch.

Like others have mentioned sheeting is a great technique. If you try you will see it will save you time even compared to the blade. Here's a link to the description of how to do it.

absorber user here i have used this for years..dont like the idea of dragging a wter blade down my car i dont care how soft it is ..also i cant believe you guys use leaf blowers on your car not a good idea leaf blower sucks in dirty air then blows it all over your clean car.!! in that case do what 1sick does just go 80mph at least it will be fun

I've been using Meguiar's Water Magnets for a couple years. No problems works great.

i used to use the absorber but then people told me that if something was on the paint it would drag it all over and scratch your paint, so i ordered this towel called the big blue 2 it a big blue microfiber towel and i can dry the whole car and try to ring it out and nothing comes out its just a water sponge.

Water Magnet towels are really great, but still leave spots if your water is hard.

I tried the Mr. Clean auto-dry thing this weekend. This is the how I did it.

1. Wet car with regular stream of water.
2. Wash with microfiber sponge /w NXT car wash
3. Rinse with water, and let the stream pull off the extra water.
4. Spray on Mr. Clean soap.
5. Rinse with their hose.
6. Re-rinse with filtered water.
7. Sit for 5~10 min.
8. Dry remaining with Water Magnet.

Super spot free!!

I have found that sheeting water after a wash by lowering the water output volume really helps...obviously work from top to bottom. Many of the recent waffle weave drying towels are terrific.
