Default 2013 LS600h wheels on 2012 LS460L

I am novice when it comes to wheels.....I need your help on determining whether I am making correct decision.

I have 2012 LS460L which came with factory installed 19" wheels (tire 245 / 45R 19). Picture attached. I am interested in replacing factory wheels with 2013 LS600h wheel.

However description of 2013 LS600h wheel states - " 19x8 Inch, 5x4.5" Bolt Pattern, One Piece Aluminum Alloy Factory, OEM Wheel, Rim (45mm Offset) ". Will this fit into my LS?. Can I use existing tires on the new wheels?.

Like to understand what is this 45mm offset means?.

45mm offset is not correct. We have a 32mm oem offset from 2007 to 2015. If those wheels are legitimate oem LEXUS 19x8 wheels with 5x120 bolt pattern they will fit perfectly. I think seller has wrong description. A Google search to explain offset will help you but basically it means how far in or out the wheel sits in fender. The lower the number the further out it sits. Again, if the wheels are real oem LS 460/600 wheels they will fit. The offset is usually stamped on the backside of one of the spokes with "et32" or "32mm" in some cases. I would have seller double check. If they come back with 45 I would pass because that is not the oem offset.

I rather like the twisted five spoke that you currently have. My 2010 has the chrome version.

I've noticed some OEM sellers advertising 5X4.5" rims for a LS 460. Looked like a typo. You should call them first.

Thanks CJITTY and dfrosch.

Lexus introduced noise canceling hollow wheels in 2013, std on 600h and option on 460L. With that said, not sure if 2013 will directly fit 2012-2007 years????.

I will confirm with seller on offset. How do I confirm / verify bolt pattern?. Is it common to change bolt patterns when new model is launched?.

Interesting, had no idea about the noise cancelling option aspect of the 13+ wheels. I need to look into that more. I have seen standard 19x8 2013 wheels on a 2007-2009 LS before and they sit the same in the fender wells...looks really good IMO. I like that slightly darker silver look they have.

Satiger

What type of shape are your old wheels in? I have the same wheels on my 2010 LS 460L. If you decide to upgrade and you are going to sell your old wheels I might be looking for 2 to mount snow tires on?

I've had tons of wheel combinations with/without spacers on oem wheels and 4 sets of aftermarket wheels. I just happen to know this stuff from obsessing over it when I was trying to get things perfect lol..I try to help when I can.

Yes CJITTY, you are spot on. Lexus dealer confirmed 2006-2015 has 5x120mm bolt patterns. However, many sites it's listed as 4.5" i.e 115mm for 600h wheels. I guess they are getting that from Hollander wheel book, learning something here .

Not sure what to do.

Post a link and we might be able to help a little better. The site probably has some sort of contact. Of course, I can't say that I won't go buy the last set.

These are out of stock. They seem to show both 5X4.5 and 5X120 for the LS rims.

But I also saw:

I confirmed it's 5x120mm. What I wasn't able to confirm by this customer support and even by Lexus dealer is the offset. Lexus dealer told me their is no mention of offset but all LS will have 35mm. I hope he is correct. I am planning to get it from Lexus.

Satiger, I love your 5 spoke wheels. I had the similar set on my LS430. While I'm very happy with my Telios wheels, I still contemplate getting some like you currently own. They are very sporty!

Good luck with your decision.
