I live in south florida in ft lauderdale... lookin to lower my car about 1 to 1.5, anyone know some place good to do it and how much im lookin to spend?
iv herd of a couple places but didnt do to well.. really scared of my lexus so anybody know of good places around??
They are fully insured and sell springs, struts, and tires for profit...
How many performance shops are ran by shady owners who employ shady workers that leave you with NO Guarantee against their work??? I don't trust any performance shop in S.FL except for All Jap Cars in Sunrise but for Springs, Sears charged me $200 to install them in my 2000 GS without a problem...
FOR 200 bucks is cheap, what do u expect? 50 bucks? if u pay a shop 50 bucks, u might as well let them make a key copy of ur car and steal it back later, **** happens all the time when i worked at a body shop, someone tried to save 20 bucks by driving to miami to get their clutch put in,one day later it was stolen without it getting broken into and then it was found in miami next to where they install the clutch all stripped. gotta love driving further to save 20 bucks u spend mor emoney on gas to get there and then the shop makes a key copy and vin copy and get ur car later when ur not around for the goodies::roll eyes::
If you are willing to drive to our shop in Kissimmee, Fl. we will have it done in a few hours. The product MUST be of high quality and perfect fitment or else we will decline the job. The total install will run you between $180 - $220 + tax depending on spring brand and quality. Send me a private message if you wish to do so.
I highly recommend Speed Shop in Miami. 6447 NW 82nd Ave (305) 471-0220.
They did springs and shocks on my GS400 back in December for $150. There were 2 or 3 other Lexus there at the time as well. Owner is a guy named Yohan Sanchez.
Then take your car to a Firestone afterwards. They offer lifetime alignment service for $120.
By the way, Lexus keys are EXTREMELY difficult to copy. Only a dealer can do it. Keys have transponder chips in them as well. A dealer will want to see proof of ID and car registration to prove you are the owner that vehicle.
I'm looking to install springs to lower my IS250... Any recommendations in S FL, preferably Miami? I see a couple listed in this thread in 2008, speed shop in miami and another in pines...Wonder if they are still in business.
What is the going rate on the install, nowadays?
General question... Has anyone lowered their car on the stock rims, any pics? I just want to lower a tad and keep the stock rims ($$)...
