Default Second Row

Yep, Lexus really dropped the ball on the second row power seat, it only adjusts to reduce leg room for the second row passengers, not increase it. Yikes, what were they thinking? I know, they were thinking of increasing leg room for the third row passengers, which I carry once in a blue moon. The new Sequoia seems cavernous by comparison, but not luxurious by any stretch.

See I like the power 2nd row. It makes it easy to move forward if you have 3rd row passengers.
The 2nd row still has a ton of room.

If Lexus had a long version I would have bought that though, you can never have too much room.

Default infiniti qx?

Has anyone compared Infiniti QX 56? We have GX (which has been great) and thinking of moving up to LX as need more space but it still is not quite big enough for us. Intending on test driving QX 56. I am guessing from price differential that not in same class?

Just so some of you are wondering what an extended length LX would possible look like, I did a quick photoshop

Poor quality all around, but at least you have an idea

While you're at it , could you change the gas door to the other side.

Stretch version = **** poor off-roading since breakover angle is one of the most important feature.

Seriously, not to hurt your egos and all, but what you guys need is a minivan. Did i tell you that i love my Sienna??? Good power and still gets 24 mpg (regular gas) on the highway. Oh yeah, it has many toys of luxury vehicle too, e.g. laser cruiser control, NAVI, 5.1 surround sound, and pretty quiet. Granted, it can't match the Lexus in the luxury department (by any stretch of the imagination), but the DVD entertainment system in my Sienna is a lot more practical, esp. for those with Xbox/PS3.

I would still rather them eliminate the 3rd row power seats and push the 2nd row seats back about 12-16 inches and give the full recliner funtions! This would still leave great cargo space and the people in the 2nd row would LOVE it!

Great work on the photoshop!!!
Funny enough that the 3rd row came in handy the other weekend, kids sleepover, birthday parties....mainly for the kids.

What is up with the gas door on the right?? I've had to turn the car around at gas stations more than once...

Great plan, with the second row power adjust you could move it forward for even more cargo space or back for limo like comfort. The third row seats are useless to me. I am waiting for the first brave soul to report on their successful removal.

I had all the intentions of removing the rear seats, power pedestal and all!

After a few minutes I chickened out

For the little gained it was not worth it for me. It is a feature I miss from my LX470
