2007 Altima Hybrid: 2.5L I4, 198 hp, 41/36 mpg
#17
I will say one thing. Our 03 Altima that we traded in for the 07 Camry was reliable and was hardly ever in the shop except for a blown strut. Unlike both the 07 CAmrys we had which broke 350 miles and 1800 miles and now Toyota bought them back. I would say its not a Piece of junk but it out live a Toyota easily.
I was a service writer for Nissan, not only the Altima is bad. Maxima, Sentra, Pathfinder, Xterra, Titan, Armada, 350Z and Murano are all crappy.
I left Nissan cuz of their poor quality cars & customers.

When you check the pictures, they do look alike, - a lot - but at the same time, in real life, you probably would not notice it that much with Nissan's huge front and back being in spotlight.
it is just an opinion, not an fact.

It is funny that the same people are saying the Altima looks exactly like the G35 but the LS460 is nothing like the 7...
Do I think Hybrid is a good alternative option? Yes.
Would I pay a premium for it? hell no.

I agree. They are different. The LS460 and 7 series are almost identical from the sides. The Altima and G35 are not.
Someone do a overlay with these two, and you will see in CLEAR VIEW they are not similar.
