VERY NICE! Let me know how it works out and what kinda fabrication was required for the clutch and all. I'm thinking about doing this in the future to handle my higher power goals

Ditto. What car did that setup come out of? Are you just swapping in a supra drivetrain setup with supra ecu, harness, etc.?

Thanks,

Its a jdm supra engineset ill be using the supra harness ecu and adapting to the car.

Kinda sweet how the stick fell right in the stock location after working with a bunch of mounts to get it right where i wanted it.

It will be coming in and out a few more times.to perfect fitment. Im just suprised at the results for the first time fitment. with no fabrication.

Have to mount up some pedals and slave cylinder and every thing else should fall into place. Ill try to keep posting progress.

Robert, EXCELLENT work man. This should also translate to the GS400/430 also, so all the guys interested in the V160 swap into the GS, pay attention to this thread

Thanks again, the wiring is old news at Grip as Pete has a handle on it. The rear end will be from a gs400 and possibly a TRD unit.

Progress has been poor due to being busy at the shop, just finished up the trans mount buy modifiying a stock Toyota cross member. With this set up there will be very little trans tunnel massaging. Just need to flatten out a little seam and she will sit in there like it was made for it.

Sooooo, al the folks that were scareed of the v160 not fitting need to take note of the rather large trans tunnel that the GS has to offer.

Hopefully next month will free up some time and truthfully it wont be long as the fitment was the biggest challenge.

More pictures soon.
