More boost.
Boost lower in the RPM band.
Much better drivability.
Not really needed with a supercharger anyway.
Less compressor surge.
I could probably think of some more reasons.

After I drive it for at least a few days the way I have it, I will decide wether or not to put it back in. If my intake temps stay reasonable without it, I will have it listed in the classifieds.

With the short drive I took last night, I was only seeing about a 10-15 degree difference between with and without the IC. I don't think losing all the above listed advantages running without it are worth 10-15 degree cooler air.

Some uncut 0-60 runs..

Three runs here. In order, I clocked them at 5.8 seconds, 5.4 seconds, and 5.07 seconds.

Three more runs. I clocked them in order at 6.4 seconds, 5.73 seconds and 4.51 freakin seconds!!!

Notice I tend to get better launching with practice. Keep in mind I am on STOCK size tires, 225 55's I think. I am having a very hard time getting a decent launch without losing traction!

On the bad side. For some reason, I am going way lean with any boost. This is the first time I have had this problem. Made some adjustments to the MAFTPro and hopefully the problem is resolved. I really need to get a rising rate and / or install the injectors I have sitting on the shelf.

KC...these videos are awesome. The car sounds incredible and runs really fast. I definitely concur that an investment in some wider wheels and tires (perhaps even stick 245/50/16's on the stock wheels) would get you off the line with less wheel spin. Obviously, your Torsen LSD is doing its job. The car looks and sounds awesome!

I have a very hard time launching with any real gusto, with or without power braking.

Some wider tires will be sometime in the future for sure.

Update and some pics. I know I have too many threads on the same project, I figured I'd keep the pics on this one.

So, as usual, I've been having some issues. I did find out that my EGR blockoff gasket had failed and I fixed that. I figured out that the injector o-rings that seal the injectors into the manifold were leaking, fixed that and decided to go ahead and put in the 315's.

Some pics.

Injectors on the rail with all new orings of course, perfect fit.

Driver side. Had to remove the covers, the data link connector, wiring harness and some other random stuff. I already had removed the egr and the two vsv's.
