EOS 7 SoCal to NorCal convoy afterthoughts
A HUGE thanks to our NorCal brethren for hosting a fantastic event. More to come soon, we're all still driving home...
If you haven't made it out to an EOS event (I say event because this is no ordinary meet) you're truly, truly missing out. This year we had two convoys, and by and large (from what I've heard so far) they went without any problems. Thanks to T-Rex06 for heading up and organizing the Saturday convoy for you guys that couldn't get off of work on Friday... Let's get those pics up now!

i'm home already. :tired:
long story short:
3:30 pm - left stevens creek lexus
6:30 pm - stopped to top off gas somewhere in bakersfield
8:45 pm - dropped off my +1 in anaheim
9:15 pm - made it home
i was pretty much haulin' a**, since i had to make it home by 9:30 to drop my folks off @ LAX earlier this evening. thanks to the high visibility, clear roads, and a lazy sunday afternoon by the CHP (and not to mention my V1 in action), i was able to rip off a few triple-digit runs in addition to keeping a fast yet steady rate.
sorry i wasn't able to leave w/ the convoy, but i'm sure i probably would've just took off to make good time.

Aw...I wanted to go to this sooo bad, but I had to be in a wedding on Saturday and didn't feel like leaving at 4am in the morning on Sunday to make it there in time.
I hope everyone had a great time and a safe trip back!

whatever you've read/heard about EOS, it is all that and more. it is worth waking up @ 4 AM to make the drive. as a matter of fact (and fyi)...
- the saturday socal convoy departed ~5:15 AM
- the EOS staff & crew were at stevens creek lexus @ 6:30 AM
- the rest of the socal contingency was there @ 8 AM
plenty of bleary-eyed people (most of them were out-of-towners)... you'd fit right in.
