Ok, here is the deal, i'm leaving for business on Friday 1/9. Oversea, Japan, Southeast Asia! My medical insurance from my company does NOT cover for this kind of travel. Anyone who's been traveled oversea and bought medical insurance to cover emergency, hospitalization, emergency evacuation etc. when you were oversea, feel free to give advice!
I need to know everything, what company, underwriter, how much coverage, what was your experience when you faced the foreign doctor in an out of States doctor? Do's and Don't's !
Thank you,
Chuck

Real quick experience cause my laptops bout to die.... I think if you are an american citizen u automatically have that type of insurance, heres why I think so. A good friend of my broke his arm falling down steps while on Vac in france or Italy. Didnt have to pay a penny for healthcare ie to reset the bone xrays cast the whole 9. They told him US had some type of coverage..... Id look into this possibility.

Thank you Jacko for your inputs. I know my credit card doesn't cover jack$#it, since to qualify for their coverage, i MUST go through their insanely high rate travel agency to order tickets for my trip and pay for the entire trip with that credit card, or else, they won't cover anything even though I use the credit card to purchase the tickets! Where can i get this kind of insurance for 1 month
