Lexus Complete Lease Offers Subscription-Style Ownership

These days, it's becoming clearer and clearer that the future of car ownership is changing. More and more people are leasing instead of buying, and now many automakers are even offering cell phone-like subscription services that lump things like lease, insurance, and maintenance costs into one singular payment. Now, Lexus is joining that fray with an all-new subscription service for the UX and UX Hybrid that's sure to appeal to certain consumers.

All-In-One Solution

Dubbed Lexus Complete Lease, the program has already rolled out to 80 dealerships across 7 states - California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The idea behind the program is to streamline the car ownership process, spanning two years and 20,000 miles. One singular payment covers the cost of the lease with maintenance, insurance, and additional services included.

Streamlined Experience

“This type of alternative leasing program aligns with the heart of Lexus, providing an amazing guest experience in every way,” said Lisa Materazzo, vice president, Lexus marketing. “By appealing to those looking to simplify their monthly commitment, the Lexus Complete Lease program makes the process more streamlined for our guests.”

Insurance Details

Lexus has teamed up with Travelers to provide the insurance for this new program. The included policy provides auto liability and physical damage coverage with a $500 deductible to provide customers with peace of mind in knowing their vehicle is protected. There's also a Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) waiver included, which is a nice addition for those worried about depreciation costs in the event of an accident.

Lump Package

The program also includes maintenance at scheduled intervals of 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000 miles. In addition, buyers receive the popular wheel and tire protection plan, $1,000 in excessive wear and use allowance, and two years of connected vehicle services including Sirius XM and Lexus Enform Remote Destination Assist on models equipped with navigation.

Overall, it's easy to see why this sort of package is attractive to so many people. After all, there are plenty of folks out there that don't have any interest in spending time setting up all of these benefits separately. Lexus is doing them a big favor by offering an all-in-one solution that greatly reduces the time and effort a new vehicle lease/purchase typically entails.
