2005 Second Annual ClubLexus Pillar of the Community Award
This is the Second Annual ClubLexus Pillar of the Community Award. The ClubLexus Pillar of the Community Award is presented to a member who has taken exceptional steps in enhancing the image and reputation of ClubLexus. As a result of this member’s efforts, both the online community and its members have benefited from the many outstanding contributions to ClubLexus.
The qualifications for receiving this award include:
- Displaying dedication towards the pursuit of ClubLexus’ vision.
- Displaying dedication to upholding the integrity of the forums.
- Respecting the rules and policies of ClubLexus.
- Obtaining the respect of fellow ClubLexus members.
Many ClubLexus members were deserving of this award in 2004. After several discussions, this year’s award is presented to Dave W., also commonly known on the ClubLexus forums as “DaveGS4”, “Forum Administrator” and “Darth Vader”.
Dave has demonstrated time and time again of his commitment to follow ClubLexus’ mission statement of enhancing the Lexus ownership experience. Dave volunteered countless number of hours assisting the online Lexus community through the following: organizing events, assisting members with their experience on ClubLexus, overseeing the 20+ member forum moderator team and assisting with general application and hardware upgrades.
This year’s award was extremely difficult to identify. Dave has everything possible for his 1998 GS 400 from a supercharger to 20” HRE wheels; you can see his featured car here. Therefore, with some creativity, the ClubLexus management team would like to present to Dave a Mont Blanc Solitaire Carbon Steel Le Grand Fountain Pen valued at $790.00. This pen is extremely popular with car enthusiasts because it contains carbon fiber in the cap section.
Please take the opportunity to congratulate Dave for all his hard work and dedication to ClubLexus in 2004. We look forward to presenting another Pillar of the Community award in 2006!
